About Protex ERP

Protex is a fully integrated end-to-end ERP and eCommerce solution designed to meet the unique requirements of clothing and footwear companies. The system supports different sales channels along with various customer service requirements. Core modules include product lifecycle management (PLM), purchase ordering, distribution, costing, bill of materials, raw material, critical path, sales orders, inventory control and reporting.

Protex is highly configurable and supports the operational flows of multiple key sectors including global fashion brands selling in retail outlets worldwide, schoolwear providers, corporate and workwear companies, bags and accessories, activewear, and tailoring services. The platform utilizes a matrix that enables users to manage style, size, color, and fit, and enables mixed procurement planning, whether make to stock (MTS) or make to order (MTO).

The Protex Customer Web Portal is a B2B and B2C eCommerce module which enables customers, agents and sales reps to enter orders online, obtain live stock information, and monitor the progress of current orders. All online activity is automatically synchronized with the Protex ERP back office system. The Customer Web Portal is also accessible by users via any mobile device for on-the-go functionality.

Protex Critical Path Management (CPM) helps monitor purchase orders by aligning the correct resources to a process, and tracking performance throughout. Any identified problems are notified to users through alerts, including visibility into reasons for delays. The wardrobe management module is a self-service ordering and enquiry system that offers service of order, through to despatch and delivery. Additional modules include warehouse management (WMS) with real time accuracy, and Sage 200 Financials for nominal, sales and purchase ledgers.
