The cloud-based sipgate team solution allows companies to use and control their entire phone system in one place via a web browser. With their VoIP solution, sipgate team aims to eliminate the need for locally-installed phone systems and software installations. Every user of sipgate team has complete access to all business communications in one web interface and within this interface users can call customers, collaborate with co-workers, check miss calls, divert calls to other users and much more.

sipgate team's main areas of operation are telephony, fax, SMS, voicemail, web conferencing and contact management, with each area offering a range of unique features. The telephony feature allows users to make parallel calls to VoIP, landline and mobiles, call recording, conference calling and call queues. Faxes can be sent and received through the sipgate team's interface based fax template and faxes can be saved and stored for future reuse. With sipgate team's solution, users can also send SMS via web to the UK and abroad. Utilizing the voicemail feature, users can set up individual and group voicemails, listen to voicemails via the web interface and forward voicemails via email by exporting as .mp3 files. sipgate team offers a contact manager with private and shared contact lists and users can import their own contact lists from vCards or integrate with the CRM systems Zoho CRM, G Suite and SugarCRM.

sipgate team is compatible with almost all types of SIP VoIP hardware phones. Local phone numbers from all over the UK, phone number blocking and international phone numbers from 35 countries are available. Furthermore itemized receipts are automatically updated and available online or sent via email and downloadable through the sipgate team archive.

    Leading VoIP service, but with severe quality problems

    Pros

    There are few competitors. The pricing is excellent and the promised functionality is great, especially, integration of mobile phones.

    Cons

    We encountered every week quality problems. Low quality of voice transmission via Sipgate while Google Meet worked perfectly, even with additional video. OK, SIP uses a different protocol. But I cannot see, why SIP needs to be used for connecting endpoints with the Sipgate servers. It would be enough to encode the connection between server and phone nets with SIP.
