Gensolve Practice Manager is a cloud-based practice and patient management solution for health professionals in Austarlia and New Zealand. The software includes tools for scheduling appointments, managing inventory, creating and storing clinical notes, processing billing and claims, and more.

Gensolve Practice Manager allows medical practices to add online booking functionality to their websites. Bookings can be made directly by clients from practice websites or Facebook pages, and users can schedule clinicians and manage availability. Automated SMS reminders are sent to reduce no-shows. Form templates are included for objective and subjective forms, and users can also create an unlimited number of custom forms for specific assessments, injuries, rehabilitation types, and other uses. Through the clinical notes system, users can create and manage patient documentation including treatment and analysis plans, patient history and general health, full medical history reports, uploaded images and documents, investigations, referrals, and discharges.

Gensolve Practice Manager's inventory management tools allow users to manage stock takes, transfer stock between sites, set minimum stock levels to trigger re-ordering, and generate reports on stock sold. Targeted searches of the client database based on client age, gender, location, and most recent appointment date surface lists of clients for marketing outreach and enable email, SMS and postal mail personalization. Clients can be sent special offers, overdue follow-up reminders, birthday wishes, and more.

All admin work with ACC is quicker
The Accounting Package is great and everything I need. Dont have to pay for another accounting package
Would highly recommend and I do encourage physios including solo or small practices to use Gensolve as well.

Pros

The program is tailoring very well for Physiotherapist
They are constantly reviewing and updating
Customer Service is excellent and always easy to get hold off. Online support is also great
Can use from the phone for some features
Works really well with windows
Accounting package is great
All the reports are fantastic
Saves me alot of time in all areas both clinically and admin wise

Cons

Not that great with Apple and have to purchased Parallels in order to run. Slower with Apple
Does have tendencies to crash quite frequently ie once per week and have to shut down the whole program to get going again. This appears to happen more with the Apple but also does happen occasionally with windows

Pros

Easy to invoice and do bulk invoicing
Able to process medicare rebates on Gensolve rather than Hicaps machine
Auto-populate templates in great and uploading new templates is easy
Help desk service is good as they send us clear steps to troubleshoot when we have issues
Good to have all client related info in 1 client record, eg appts, attended, client notes uploaded to record, events uploaded to client record, payments etc.
It's good that we can hide client names on the appt book if we need to at reception

Cons

It would be easier if we can press enter on the keyboard when trying to select a function eg when searching for an invoice instead of pressing Get data, just to press enter key.
Good if we can have a copy and past function on the appt book for clinician appts, eg copy and past multiple admin spots or supervision time or annual leave.
Need to be able to be compatible with Onenote to be able to have Onenote templates
Would like more report functions/features eg having GP addresses included in the Client Referrer Details report, having a billable hours report for clinicians that included only "psychologist appt" data not "cliniciam appt", (non-billable data).
Would be great if there is an alert that comes up when booking in a client who has fees owing.
It would be good if Gensolve can increase the size of files that we can upload

very little flexibility and interaction with other software. Terrible marketing results. Very difficult to interacti with patients as sms/email system is clunky

Pros

Easy and straight forward to use. Good online support team who are quick at finding you a solution. Gensolve had more to offer as an practice management system compated to others, suited my practice needs and worked well with other systems (ACC and Physitrack)

Cons

Nothing much, lots still to learn and explore.
