About Tazio

Tazio is a cloud-based recruiting platform which combines aptitude tests, video interviewing, situational judgement tests, realistic job previews, and hybrid assessments, in order to help businesses find the best candidates for the job. The solution can be used to schedule interviews, score candidates, export data for onboarding, manage workflows, report on recruiting, and more.

Tazio enables employers to objectively evaluate candidate's potential with tailor-made and custom branded aptitude tests, realistic job previews, situational judgement tests, and video interviews. Individual tests can also be combined to create a complete online assessment process tailored to business needs. Assessments can include animation, audio and video clips, as well as personalized introductions and a conclusion screen. Candidates can be scored against a defined criteria, based on a customers competency framework. Flexible workflow management enables employers to quickly progress or reject candidates.

With Tazio, candidates can complete applications and assessments on any laptop, tablet, or mobile device, and interviews can be carried out at the applicants convenience with the video interview feature. In order to help businesses come to an accurate and unbiased decision, Tazio uses learning algorithms and machine learning to analyze over 900 data points to identify the best candidates based on real data. Tazio integrates with third party platforms including applicant tracking systems and HR tools, in order to synchronize candidate data and simplify the onboarding process.

  • Create aptitude tests from scratch or have the Tazio team create a bespoke assessment tailored to business needs. Identify the most suitable candidates by analyzing their culture fit, personality, situational judgement, cognitive ability, language proficiencies, and skills.

  • Generate realistic job previews to test how candidates perform in realistic situations relating to the role they have applied for. Candidates also get the opportunity to see if the job is right for them by experiencing real job tasks.

  • Analyze the performance of candidates with situational judgement tasks which assess a candidate's ability to resolve issues and react to unexpected situations in the workplace. SJTs can include a series of audio and video clips, animations, or simple text situations.

  • Schedule and carry out video interviews with Tazio in order to pre-assess candidates before scheduling a face-to-face interview. Video interviews are automated and create unbiased results as the same questions are asked to each candidate.

  • Manage candidates within the searchable database, and filter candidates based on aspects such as skills, experience, location, and more. Provide feedback to candidates via email and provide them with greater insight into roles.

    Very good software, easy to follow and understand. Each drop down is very quick and helpful. And its great save the questions.

    Cons

    Can sometimes be slow and navigating candidates can be slow when you try and put in a new candidate name and it reloads

    Time Consuming!

    It is extremely time consuming as we spend so much time manually fixing problems and helping...

    It is extremely time consuming as we spend so much time manually fixing problems and helping candidates/colleagues/assessors to log in. We also spend A LOT of time on the phone/emailing customer services. There are certain clauses that make Tazio work less effectively (it works not at all in fact), such as having extra tabs open/saving Tazio as a book mark/clicking on event links in stead of copy and pasting into browser (this is advice from the customer service team), these little time saving tips stop Tazio from working completely - why? It is also not widely known about these until you speak to the customer service team so external candidates/assessors/colleagues think the system is broken.

    Pros

    Once you know the system - it is fairly easy to navigate.

    Cons

    Constant log in problems with candidates/assessors
    Constant bugs with downloading reports
    Time consuming
    Tim saving tips (bookmarks/clicking on event links) make Tazio not work

    Great tool, slightly clunky at first but Customer Service is excellent

    Pros

    * Good for HR and clients that use traditional assessment centres

    Cons

    * Once you publish a project you cannot amend (you have to duplicate and republish)
    * Currently heavily using Flash which is becoming unsupported by Chrome in Dec 2020. I know that Tazio have alternatives in development

    Pros

    Quick, easy and simple to use.
    Link is easy to access.
    Majority of candidates have actually mentioned this is much easier to have a first stage interview.

    Cons

    Sometimes candidates get a little confused on what to expect. Not a major deal but I would suggest a little more information to the candidate taking the video beforehand would be great. Perhaps like a minute demo.
