About Spreadsheet Server
Spreadsheet Server is a centralized reporting and automation solution that connects to an ERP database to pull live information into the native spreadsheet environment. Using a pre-configured add-in for Microsoft Excel and compatible for integration with a myriad of popular ERP systems, Spreadsheet Server eliminates any re-keying or repeated downloading of business data. Users are empowered to not only create reports in a familiar workspace, they can also drill-down substantially into live ERP details without specialist IT knowledge. Blending GL and non-GL data into a single worksheet, Spreadsheet Server's QueryExchange component provides an online repository of pre-configured queries that can be grouped together using the built-in SmartPak feature.
In addition, the integrated QueryDesigner promises a user-friendly facility for non-technical users to formulate, design and maintain custom relational database queries. Both these custom queries and those selected pre-configured formulas can be combined to work seamlessly within a single spreadsheet. Spreadsheet Server also aids the sharing of reports by bringing popular workflow operations into Excel, via the Distribution Manager. Here, users can perform printing actions, copying commands and even compose emails with attachments when scheduling a more automated distribution workflow.

Pros
Great tool for connecting to multiple databases and generating reports with Excel add-in functionality.
Cons
If connecting to multiple databases, report generation is often slow. Can take time running very detailed reports. Can have issues when enabled in Excel when opening a new Excel document.

This tool is great for saving time and creating efficient workflow

Pros
Spreadsheet server was able to speed up the way our company worked by being able to analyze data in half the time we were able to before. Most of our time was spent compiling the data and we barely had time to analyze it. We are now able to do both in a fraction of the time. Would highly recommend this tool for people who want to get their YARDI data in excel.
Cons
It took a long time to set up because we were going through a 3rd party. This would have been easier to setup if we has someone from spreadsheet server who could have come help our IT do the setup in house instead of over zoom.

Pros
Helped provide a data link from our ERP into Excel. Similar to other Excel add-ins, this allowed us to customize reports in ways that were not availiable within the ERP. Efficient and effective.
Cons
Refreshing data during the close process can be timely.
