Hero is a student behavior management software designed to help K-12 schools track and manage both positive and negative student behavior. With reinforcement, redirection and communication tools, Hero enables users to manage classroom activity, referrals and tardiness as well as track incidents and student behavior. Native mobile apps for iOS and Android aim to keep parents, teachers and students on the same page.
Users can collect, record and analyze essential student data with points tracking technology and custom reports. Hero’s data reporting allows users to notice positive behavior trends and reward students for their behavior. With classroom management capabilities, users can track classroom activity and participation, receive at-a-glance behavior overviews and implement and edit school-wide policies.
Hero provides a simple referral workflow, enabling users to approve, reject or request more information for teacher-submitted referrals. Student Information System (SIS) integration with applications such as PowerSchool allows users to share and analyze referral data. Users can track any major incidents at school such as disruptive behavior, bullying or vandalism. Hero also automates minor discipline and tardiness management as users can scan and print passes for tardy students.
Hero’s attendance tracking technology enables users to maintain a complete digital record of student attendance at any event, from school dances to field trips and sporting events. Users can manage events easily with a one step student check-in process and pop-up alerts. Alerts notify users when a student has unserved detentions and allows users to control who has access to events.

Pros
The software is easily customizable, so when new students come, they immediately show up. Any district can customize it to their own system.
Cons
Teacher names are not displayed in lists for points or demerits.

The students like when I am monitoring the kindergarten hallway and tell them that they are going to get a point. Once I comment on one kindergarten students excellent behavior and tell them that they are going to get a point everyone shapes up immediately. I wish there was a way to display all kindergarten students on a tablet by class, so I could quickly give them a point based on teacher and first name specifically for monitoring the hallway and I also think this would be an excellent tool for our cafeteria staff.
Pros
I like that I can select my whole class then deselect the students that did not earn the points. I also like that I can reward my students at the end of the week for their positive behavior. I also think it is great that I am able to use the app on my cell phone, so I am able to award points to students that are not in my class as I monitor the halls in the morning.
Cons
When I select my whole class then deselect those students that did not display that behavior, I wish I could adjust the level of points earned for each student between 1 to 5.

Pros
The collection of data is super easy it takes me less than 5 clicks to record that a student have missing homework. Tracking of rewards and punishments has never been so easy.
Cons
For a usual user this totally work but for a math teacher who likes more specific reports or who wants more specific records is limited in flexibility

The software, with a little help, allows communication with the attendance software to automatically issue consequences for student violations.
Cons
Some of the features are a little less customizable than I would like. The ability to create subgroups isn't available yet.
