Scala
About Scala
Scala is a digital signage solution providing customized digital communication to businesses including retail, hospitality, education, healthcare, and more. With solutions for any industry type, and fully customizable digital signage, Scala allows users to communicate their message, from multiple outlets, to both employees and customers from one central location.
Scala solutions allow users to create audience engagement experiences with the Scala designer tool by using one of the many in-built templates, and connect a network of digital signs, kiosks, websites, mobile devices, or any internet connected device. The content manager facilitates the planning and continuous management of content through pre-planned playlists which can adapt to trends and even target specific customers. For added customization, businesses can also set up role-based permissions to provide certain employees with access to the data presented on the screen, and edit the playlists depending on real-time information from sources such as news, weather, and traffic.
With Scala’s various digital signage possibilities including interactive fitting rooms, digital menu boards, kiosk services, wayfinding, digital advertising, and in-store targeting, users can communicate messages to their customers in an interactive way. For retail businesses, interactive marketing and tailored targeting can help increase sales and brand awareness, whilst quick service restaurants can benefit from Scala’s queue management tools and menu display screens.

Provides optimum programming facilities and best for static programmers.
Pros
Scala is a best fit for programming aspirants if you ask me. Unlike other popular programming tools, It is suitable for functional programming since it's object-oriented and also provides a huge library of useful components.I like its simplicity, ease of use and affordability.
Anyone with any experience-level can use Scala and there are several learning resources included with the app.
Cons
Poor support services. It takes almost an eternity before you get help on discord. I don't enjoy it.

A not so good experience due to what was previously mentioned about large volumes of work, it is a shame because it outlines very sophisticated projects that you must work on one by one.
Pros
It is a programming language that I enjoy using in specific projects at Google. What I like most about Scala is its combination of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms, which allows me to write code more concisely and primarily expressively.
Cons
Scala is especially useless in projects that involve high concurrency, processing large volumes of data, or building distributed systems - areas that Google often works on but is not fit for purpose.

Powerful Digital Signage Platform
Reviewed on 2021/11/11
Pros
We have used Scala for 13+ years now, it's probably the most proficient Digital Signage platform available, allowing you to create everything from simple displays showing screens to fully interactive displays, triggering from external sources, rateboards, flight boards, etc.
The customer facing UI is excellent and allows simple building and scheduling of playlists and displays.
Cons
The power of Scala means that it's not easy to just pick up, for most of the complex stuff I would always advise getting the experts in to help you build and implement the project.
