About Artichoke
Artichoke is a cloud-based business management platform designed for small appointment-based businesses with 1-10 employees. The software includes online scheduling, credit card processing, appointment reminders, income and expense tracking, client notes, and more.
With Artichoke, users can set up an online booking webpage, allowing their clients to book appointments at any time, from any device. Reminders are sent out automatically before appointments by email or text message. Credit card payments can be processed, and users can set up recurring transactions and track client balances. Hours, income, expenses, and profit or loss can also be tracked through the Artichoke dashboard, and are sent to users in a weekly email summary.
Client reviews can be collected through Artichoke, with automatic review requests sent to clients and periodically included in notifications for appointments, payments, and other interactions. Users are automatically alerted to new reviews and can add their own comments. Reviews can be displayed on the booking page to encourage new prospects to book. Customers can also be acquired through referrals, with an automated referral engine, referral tracking by client, and total referral value tracking. Via Zapier, users can integrate Artichoke with their email marketing system, enabling the automatic addition of new clients to mailing lists.

Overall like I said it's been great in the aspect of client database and management there of, managing clients files and dossiers has helped our business to become more professional and more efficient in our endeavors due to the quality of the softwares management.
Pros
What we found to be most appealing and of the high quality is the client database aspect of the software, the in-depth spectrum, the seamless referencing and updating information of the clients, consistency of the strength of the database in the sense that we've had no hiccups on information stored or anything of that nature.
Cons
Nothing really comes to mind as far as dislike per say, I do think that the company should shift their focus more towards the client database aspect and maybe broaden that great thing that they've accomplished in this field and possibly leave behind me account management part to achieve that, that would be my only recommendation.

Pros
I love that my clients can book online. It keeps track of my referrals, gift certificates, client history, and goals.
Cons
It doesn't run very fast. Has a lot of glitches. Most of the time I have to write down when my client would like to rebook and finish after they've left so they don't have to wait forever. Also so I can move on to my next client. I wish I could set up a clean up time to the end of my services and customize those clean up times. Since I need more for a Stone Massage or body wrap than a quick 30 minute massage. I would also like to be able to pay for two clients on one ticket. My hope is that this software will get better with time.

It's dependable and customer service is excellent. Any time I have had questions they were quick to respond.
Cons
If a new client is booking the same time as another client-they believe it just went through because they don't realize if they actually got the appt they would get a confirmation email.

Pros
Very easy to set up and use. Did not take a ton of time to do. Love the ability to upload clients into the system.
Cons
I don't really see a ton of negative things with this software. I guess the only thing I would like the ability to see a report on the notifications. being sent out.
