Innovative Mentoring was the perfect choice for our small non-profit start-up experience. The software was customizable, even with our lean budget. We found the software easy to use and it met our needs perfectly. Changes were easy to make as we refined our program needs.

Amazing software

Pros
At we care Portland we could not have expressed and appreciate the staff at innovative mentoring company. The software is absolutely amazing and very user-friendly and I have highly recommended individuals who are looking to get into mentorship to use the software. From the time you purchase the software to the onboarding process and even ongoing support, I have been very impressed. And I highly recommend this software to anyone who is looking to better their organization and keep good documentation in the organization. Once again on super impressed hands down this is the best software that I have found so far.

Working with Innovative both the staff and the software has been an amazing experience. The Innovative team is so helpful and responsive.
Pros
I love the ease of use for the end user. Because Innovative has records for both the mentor and mentee and then "matches" them, users can easily see all the data they need, both for the mentor and mentee including how many hours the pair have met, send emails or texts to mentors and so much more!
Cons
Innovative hasn't designed very many profiles for users. I'm also hoping they develop a report writer.

We have been using IMS since July of this year and it's been a great comprehensive tool to help us consolidate a lot of the information that we track and use regularly. The powerful search tool has been extremely valuable for us. We love that surveys are integrated into IMS, too. Whenever there's any issue with any function of IMS or we've needed to make a change, both the customer support and development teams are extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful. The few minor hiccups we've had have been addressed quickly and thoroughly. IMS is built for mentoring programs, has everything we need, and on top of that, has been a great team to work with!
Pros
The search function, integrated surveys with Survey Gizmo, mentor application process, ease of creating relationships.
Cons
Reporting has been a little more convoluted than we initially realized, with data exports generally giving us much more information than we need and then needing to be pared down. Some search functions are a little buggy with regard to dates and time zones. Being unable to remove our own options from drop down menus is a drawback, but IMS staff take care of this quickly.
