About Alexa
Alexa Marketing Stack is a keyword research and website ranking platform which offers a range of SEO and competitive analysis tools. The tool is designed to help business owners, marketers, and leadership teams identify keywords, discover competitors’ keywords, benchmark their performance against competitors, improve SEO, and more.
Alexa’s SEO tools include site audits, paid and organic keyword research, keyword share of voice, keyword difficulty, competitor backlink checker, an on-page SEO checker, and more. The competitor keyword matrix allows users to identify keywords which are sending traffic to multiple competitors, including both paid and organic keywords. Keyword clusters can also be visualized, and the audience overlap with similar sites can be analyzed. The competitor backlink checker allows users to check backlinks for multiple competitors’ sites, identify backlink gaps, and analyze opportunities. Alexa also suggests keywords for users’ sites, tailored to be relevant to target audiences and topics.
The competitive analysis tools offered by Alexa include site comparisons, website traffic statistics, performance benchmarking, and site overviews. With site overviews, users can measure website traffic, check Alexa ranks, and research competitors’ website statistics. Site comparisons allow users to benchmark their site’s performance against other sites, using metrics including traffic sources, estimated visits and pageviews, audience demographics, bounce percentages, time off site, historic traffic trends, and more. Industry trends and changes in web traffic can also be identified by comparing up to 10 sites.

It allows to check the background of the domain, but the data can be misleading
Reviewed on 2017/10/10
Pros
It is a very simple tool for checking the position and potential of the domain, competitors, etc. It works quickly and works fine for very brief and basic use.
Cons
For more advanced use cases this tool is too simple - there are better solutions out there.
Data behind it isn't really accurate also, especially when you dig deeper.
