About CourseWebs
CourseWebs is a learning management system (LMS) designed for organizations within a variety of industries including education, sales trainers, safety programs, business and government training, as well as hospitals and medical groups. The platform helps facilitate the creation of content and online assessments for training courses, with additional modules for enrollment, eCommerce, reporting, and more.
The exam module enables instructors to load questions into the CourseWebs database in order to automatically create exams and quizzes which can be edited, deleted, and re-used anytime. Questions can be true/false, multiple choice, short answer, multiple answer (checkboxes), and essay style. Users are provided with detailed score reports, and students are sent results on automatically graded exams via email. Feedback can also be entered for each question during exam review.
Course content authoring can be done through CourseWebs's built-in content management system which allows users to add various multimedia files or embedded content. Users can also monitor and track content access and time spent in exams, and more. Organizations can bulk enroll students from a spreadsheet or allow individuals to self enroll into courses. Reporting features provide users with access to important information, allowing them to filter, sort, and search through reports.
CourseWebs offers an enrollment API to facilitate third-party integration and comes with fully customizable email templates and custom branding. User can also set up automated email reminders, enable single sign-on, and export reports to a PDF, Excel, or a printer.

Pros
The CourseWebs LMS is an easy to learn, use and comprehensive online educational platform. Support was consistently excellent. After researching different LMS companies for over a year, CourseWebs was a very good fit for my company. CourseWebs met my budget and technology needs.

I have used several systems like this is the past. Overall, I am very pleased with the functionality and the support from CourseWebs. The biggest issue is that this is a one size fits all software. A company who used it for internal training doesn't need the same functions as an online business using the system. Being an online business, we often end up needing "tweeks" to add changes that meet our needs but an internal training wouldn't need. I think the features are somewhat limited, but probably adequate for most users. For example, it would be nice to have a simple option that allowed you to offer all of your courses or a group of courses for a single price. This is something an online seller would use, but as it stands now it is very difficult to manually set this up. The customer support is the best part of CourseWebs. They really work to try to include changes in updates and are very responsive. Overall, I'm very pleased...but would like to see a little more focus on the needs of the online seller.
