Autosoft is a cloud-based dealer management system (DMS) which allows businesses to manage customer information, sales, finance & insurance (F&I), communications, accounting, reporting, and more. Native apps for iOS and Android enable communication and collaboration between users across multiple device types.
Autosoft’s customer database can be used to record a wide range of customer data, including addresses, contact details, vehicles, activity, relationships, and more, with customer photos to improve recognition by staff. Customer preferences and previous vehicle issues can also be tracked, with the aim of providing a more personalized service. Real-time vehicle valuation, credit and compliance tools, and customized menus which update continuously enable the management of F&I. The inventory management system gives users a real-time view of inventory data, including information on repairs, costs, market values, and more. Vehicle appraisals can be carried out with custom appraisal worksheets, and the digital merchandising system utilizes direct syndication to reduce errors on listing sites.
Autosoft offers tools for managing parts and service fixed operations. Features include quoting, electronic scheduling, retail and service sales, electronic repair orders, wholesale management, and more. The accounting module allows users to manage finances across their dealership, with full integration between all modules. Batch and direct journal transaction posting, account history printing, general ledger search, bank reconciliation, payroll preparation, financial statement creation, and a range of other functions are included.

Pros
Format is simple and easy to use. Function finding is intuitive.
Cons
Glitches are more common than I would like. Has resulted in some loss of data. Over all still a good program.

Pros
It keeps everything basic- but also includes all vital aspects of inventory management and sales. It is by far one of the best systems we use
Cons
When working in service the system is a bit confusing but with proper training it is easy to get familiar with

Pros
I like the fact that most of our F&I software is easy to use. It doesn't do a good job of decoding vehicles though.
Cons
The lag on the accounting, parts & service side is disappointing. We also seem to get kicked out a lot.

I have been able to find mistakes of things that have happened in the past and move forward in an attempt to correct those errors. And when I run into an issue, I have been able to call and get assistance rather quickly and easily from the support team.
Pros
For my position I like that I can easily make required entries and be able to find past entries to look back on if I need to wrap my head around what I need to do.
Cons
I'm not sure, with time as I continue to get more acquainted with the software I would be able to find something.
