Whereby is the easiest to use and most reliable video meeting tool on the market. With no app or installs required - and no login for guests - Whereby users don't have to deal with clunky downloads or learning new technology. It's as simple as clicking the link and joining the meeting directly in your browser.
Whereby features include; screen sharing, adjustable privacy settings (lock/unlock rooms), custom branding, and integrations with third party platforms such as Slack, Trello, and YouTube. Guests can access video conversations using a custom link which can be shared via email, chat, or any other platform, and there’s no need for individual logins or passwords when accessing a chat. Users can, however, setup locked rooms which have customizable privacy settings including guest screening and authentication.
Whereby has various plans to suit many budgets and needs. Conversations can contain up to 50 participants with unlimited HD screen sharing and automatic full screen so that members can give presentations with ease. Users can also customize the layout of their conversation window using a drag and drop interface to move videos and participants, and resize the window of each participant. Customizable branding allows enterprises to create their own branded video chats by adding business logos and color schemes.

Pros
Whereby allows you to stay connected and productive while on the go. You can use it as a webcam or microphone, allowing you to make video calls on all your favorite platforms without having to worry about compatibility issues.One of the main benefits of using Whereby is that it's free. Because it's a cloud-based application, there are no costly upgrades or monthly fees to use it. The app is also available across all devices, which means you can get to your information from any device that has an Internet connection.
Cons
The free version is limited in features and not suited for larger meetings.

Whereby allowed me to get started with video conferences and online meetings. However, I switched to Zoom for more stability and functionalities.
Pros
Whereby has a user-friendly and simple-to-use interface? It is easy to set up a meeting and send invitations. You can receive notifications when users enter the room (customizable). Rooms can be locked or open, which is convenient to give you more control over who can come in. The quality and speed are standard, however, I had to deal with broken-up communication more often than with Zoom. At first, I thought web-based technology would not be great, but it turned out to work well and be rather user-friendly.
Cons
Resources, features, and functionalities are more limited than Zoom. It was always a bit frustrating not to be able to share a specific window but to share the whole screen (at least from Safari). The background image (called "effect" instead of background image, which is the frame image and not what appears behind you)is limited to a few preselected ones, and you cannot choose your own picture.

You can create personalized rooms for your teams/company and use the room to meet anyone
Cons
They brought an unnecessary limit to the number of people that can attend meetings at once, then we had to stop using it. Also, the mobile version was not good at all.

Pros
Is really easy to use, for us it was the key to migrate to appear.in
Cons
Has come troubles with new camera configurations, and when I have 2 o more webcam connected.
The same with heaphones. I have my laptop connected with Bosse Quitecomfort Bluethoot, another Bluethoot speakers and plgged headphones and thats causing troubles.
