The CRE Suite is designed to help clients such as real estate principals, service providers, investors and tenant services underwrite, analyze or model various asset types, including leased real estate, multifamily apartments, operated real estate (hospitality, golf courses, healthcare facilities) and specialized real estate (student housing, self-storage, ground leases). Services provided by The CRE Suite include due diligence, business process, technology and marketing services, as well as financial analysis.
Due diligence services enable users to manage lease abstracts, financial modeling and deal structures, plus rent and sales comps. The CRE Suite’s due diligence tools help teams close transactions on everything from a loan on a single-tenant drugstore to a 100-property portfolio. Lease abstracting technology enables users to identify and extract important information from documents and highlight missing fields and documents. The LeaseWatcher reporting feature allows users to track the lease abstraction process in real time.
The CRE Suite’s real estate financial analysis and modeling services help users model cash flows and returns accurately at the property, portfolio, fund, or corporate level. Support for ARGUS Valuation DCF, Developer and Enterprise and Microsoft Excel helps users perform accurate financial analysis. Real estate business process consulting tools enable users to manage the real estate acquisition workflow, streamline real estate modeling, and automate real estate analysis. The CRE Suite’s real estate technology services help users streamline real estate underwriting processes and digital marketing operations.

Pros
This software has cut our time for building portfolio models by 50% or more. It's streamlined our portfolio process and allowed us to cut down on costly mistakes when combining multiple models into a portfolio. Making changes to the portfolio underwriting is also now a quick process with the ability to pull any file from the cloud and save those changes quickly. The compare versions feature is also a great tool to compare the results of two different pro forma projections and allows us to dial in our pricing much faster. The mapping and demographic tools are also a huge time saver. Overall the investment in this tool will cut down on our overall hours needed on projects and reduce our man power needed to finish our underwriting projects.
Cons
We haven't come across any issues with the software to date, the only initial challenge was ensuring multiple analysts had access to the same cloud files to ensure continuity on projects, however the service team at CRE helped us resolve this immediately upon request. Also, the app can time out and look like it's still logged in but this is easily fixed when you sign back in to the model.

CRE literally built a mixed use development proforma for me from the ground up.

Pros
Ease of use and application to either a mixed use project, or a single use commercial project. Structured in such a way that one can fill in the blanks of a development proforma for specific costs, time frames, construction loan funding, waterfalls, long term take-outs, etc.
Cons
It took some time to develop the software from the ground up, and to work the "glitches" out while entering data. It also takes some time to educate investors on how to peruse to presentation materials to find the information they're seeking.
