Aeternum by Hornetsecurity is a cloud-based email archiving solution designed to help companies who manage thousands of emails every day to automatically and legally store all of their email communications, with compliance, transparency and control features, plus secure storage, email search & retrieval tools, and more. Aeternum’s cloud-solution supports the archiving of all incoming and outgoing emails for up to 30 years, operates without any user intervention (fully automatic), and meets regulatory requirements.

Aeternum offers legally compliant and audit-proof archiving of emails, as well as quick and central access to the data. Secure storage tools help users manage sensitive business emails simply and securely. Automatic and secure email storage means that users can access sensitive emails quickly in the event of a query. To ensure compliance, transparency and control, Aeternum stores emails for a particular period of time, and keeps them available so that auditors can access them at any time. Users can find and restore emails to their inbox with Aeternum’s full-text search functionality.

The Aeternum product makes a copy of all incoming and outgoing emails, and stores them on Hornetsecurity servers automatically. Aeternum provides three independent data storages in different locations, TLS encryption and service level agreements, to enhance email security and protection. Aeternum also marks private emails by the user, stores the emails in their original state, and supports different storage periods, allowing users to archive emails from 6 months up to 30 years. Native iOS and Android apps give users the flexibility to access stored emails on the go, via mobile devices.
