Square Takeoff is a cloud-based takeoff and estimating software which provides construction professionals with the tools to manage bids and complete construction estimates for any residential or commercial project. The platform gives users access to thousands of prebuilt material templates to use to estimate their next project, but also enables users to customize their templates to meet the specific needs of their project. As a cloud-based solution, Square Takeoff gives users the flexibility to manage bids and estimates anytime, anywhere, via any internet-enabled device.

Square Takeoff offers an all-in-one takeoff and estimating solution, allowing users to complete full project takeoffs and estimates on screen using digital blueprints or Google satellite images. Square Takeoff’s product features enable users to print and share plans, load all major image file types, and calculate complex roof and wall areas. Users simply point-and-click with their mouse, finger or stylus in order to calculate square footage, linear footage and/or item counts. Square Takeoff also enables users to navigate plans easily, maintain accuracy with the scale tool, and identify takeoffs using notes and colors.

Bid management technology allows users to keep track of their bid due dates and project start dates, while project collaboration tools enable users to share jobs to collaborate between construction phases. Since all projects are stored in the cloud, Square Takeoff ensures that all project and job information is secure and readily accessible.
