About Commissionly

Commissionly is a cloud based sales commission and compensation solution for ISO's FMO's, Insurance Brokers, Merchant Services Companies, Financial Services and Education , Telecoms and Energy Companies.

The Commissionly platform can calculate commission on initial contracts and on residual payments. It can also track missing commissions based on payments recieved.

Data
Custom Data templates allow multiple data formats to be imported with ease. Data can be altered by supplier to adjust the commissionable value to be applied to the commission plans.

Our API can be used to import data direct from open platforms.

Commission Hierarchy
Assign downline agents and split values automatically based on Transaction data such as ID, Customer, Policy Number, MID number or any other unique identifier.

Access to downline information in the system can be controlled by role.

Additional data can be added to imported data through the creation of lookup tables.

Reporting
Custom reports can be created to fit the requirements of the business.

Unpaid Commissions
Closed deals that have nit yet reach a commissionable status can be calculated for planning and accruals.

Future Commissions
Our built in future commission report can use contract terms to calculate future commission revenue for the business.

ASC606 Commission Report
Use this custom report to manage commission accounting rules and accruals.

Commission Communication
Commissionly’s dashboard is where payees can access all information related to any of their past and future commission payments.

    Pros

    Commissionly provides a catalogue of set commission and sales reports that are available for use. They also provide a report builder tool.

    Cons

    Commissionly provides many benefits, and I haven't seen any negatives.

    Stepped commissions have made everything run smoother allowing us to gradually increase or reduce the number of commissions paid based on our needs.

    Pros

    For our small team we wanted to automate the way we calculate commissions within the business. There is a lot of software for big businesses however this is the only one we found targeted at small business with a cost that was reasonable. Thereafter adding targets and commission percentages was easy. My team can also now login and track their own progress and work towards the goals that have been set.

    Cons

    Connecting to our CRM would be great so there is a bit of manual work tracking leads and customers to actual sales, however the reporting and layout of Commissionly is such that tracking these things is easy. They are aware of this and upon speaking to live support on their website have said that this feature is in the pipeline.

    Commissionly is an invaluable tool for our company.

    Pros

    We previously managed commissions manually with spreadsheet. Commissionly saves hours of time and we can avoid calculation errors. It also gives our team visibility into their commission status on demand.

    Cons

    We need to spend more time on report writing, to see what information is available to us. It's not easy to see how to set up the reports. Design and implementation was a long process, partly because our commission structure is complicated. The team was very responsive and we ended up with a product that is exactly what we wanted and is easy for the team to understand.
