About DealRoom
DealRoom is a cloud-based Agile M&A project management software that combines virtual data room features, communication tools, pipeline management, and diligence tracking all on a single platform.
Users can upload files to DealRoom in bulk with drag-and-drop upload and automatic indexing functionality. Permissions can be managed for each file and folder, giving users control over which documents can be viewed, downloaded, or printed, and watermarks can be applied as necessary. Full-text search enables the location of information or documents using phrases or keywords, and files can be linked with requests, allowing users to view related requests from within the document. All requests are presented in a visual list, providing users with an at-a-glance view of their priority, status, and date on which they were last updated. Custom labels can be used for further organization, and the progress of all requests can be viewed on a single page.
DealRoom leverages machine learning to remove the need to manually answer duplicate requests by automatically suggesting previous responses and related documents. Diligence progress can be tracked over time, and any requests flagged as high priority or high risk can be monitored. All document activity can be tracked, including who uploaded or downloaded files, who viewed documents, and when. Buyer engagement is also visualized, allowing users to see which buyers spend the most time reviewing diligence requests.

Virtual data room to track buyers and provide them access to sensitive company documents for their due diligence.
Pros
The security and ease of use is very helpful. We are able to get potential buyers all of the relevant documents in a concise manner and to track who is reading what documents.
Cons
Being used to other virtual data room databases, it takes a bit of time to get up the learning curve on the nuances of DealRoom versus others.

Pros
the pre-loaded lists to things to choose from, organization and periodization of tasks.
Cons
New to it so still struggling to figure it all out. I really dislike that I can't track contacts and follow up prior to getting someone to a possible deal.

Pros
This software is easy to use and very intuitive. We've had several clients comment about how simple the experience has been so far.
Cons
There are no real cons about this product thus far. I have not had any issues using DealRoom since I became a customer.

I was given access as part of a due diligence data room. The file structure was easy to understand, and downloading was simple. There were a number of features that were beyond my typical data room experience, but I believe could be useful.
Pros
The ability to request information through the platform, the download process was easy.
Cons
While intrigued by the ability to request information, I didn't use it, because I generally err towards direct email asks. If this was an internal project, I could see the use for the information request features.
