About Adobe Analytics

Adobe Analytics is a marketing attribution software which enables businesses of all sizes to measure and understand the impact of their customer interactions using a range of tools including web analytics, marketing analytics, attribution, predictive analytics, multi-channel data collection, and more. With Adobe Analytics technology, users can monitor and analyze streams of data, then convert it into actionable, real-time insight.

AI and machine learning technology such as attribution and predictive modeling, contribution analysis and propensity scoring helps users gain intelligent customer insight, and go beyond simple page views and bounce rates. Adobe Analytics provides users with channel and marketing analytics, enabling users to integrate data from any channel, including web, mobile, video, social, and more, so that users have a range of data with which to analyze and understand their customers better. With both rules-based and algorithmic attribution models, Adobe Analytics enables users to see behind any conversions and invest accordingly.

Adobe Analytics allows users to collect and measure all of their data in a central location with tools such as custom variables, unique processing rules, offline data integration, tag management and data warehouse and data feeds. Centralized data management serves to give users a clear, yet in-depth picture of customer and business performance. To help users explore and understand their marketing data, and put customers in context, Adobe Analytics supports ad hoc analysis, flow analysis, advanced segmentation, and more.

Marketing attribution functionality operates alongside contribution analysis, anomaly detection and intelligent alerts to help users analyze data automatically. Tools designed to help users share and act on data include shared audiences, remarketing triggers, advertising analytics, mobile marketing, and third-party integrations.

Key benefits of Adobe Analytics

  • The Analysis Workspace feature allows users to perform ad hoc analysis by dragging and dropping any number of data tables, visualizations and components (channels, dimensions, metrics) to a project.

  • Adobe Analytics supports offline data integration, enabling users to integrate data seamlessly from a CRM system or other source of offline enterprise data.

  • Rules-based and algorithmic attribution approaches enable users to analyze customer behavior and interaction patterns, to create appropriate models for different channels.

  • Adobe Analytics supports multichannel data collection, enabling users to capture data from various sources, including the web, email, campaigns, mobile devices, and more.

  • Anomaly detection technology checks through large amounts of data and identifies any unexpected anomalies or factors impacting the user’s business, with intelligent alerts to inform users immediately when any anomalies are detected.

Adobe Analytics is maybe too feature rich?

    Reviewed on 2019/02/05

    Pros

I have been using AA since it was Omniture/Site Catalyst. It is extremely feature-rich and can collect and analyze web metrics in so many ways. To be honest, I have barely been able to truly scratch the surface of the latest version of AA. Dashboards are easy to create and use. The ability to send web metrics reports in a number of formats is great.

    Cons

I think I may have been passed by as far as the features go. AA has become slightly too complicated for me. I use it the same way I did 10 years ago - and that is fine for me. But it can do so much more now that it is almost confusing for me. I can't imagine a completely new user trying to use it for the first time.

    Cons

Adobe Analytics is a very complete and easy-to-use tool, I can't find something I don't like about this amazing software.

More detailed reporting and testing capability

    Pros

Strong custom capabilities if your team is able to integrate, extremely detailed segments and KPIs recorded.

    Cons

Very hard to implement, custom reports are confusing for non-power users. Customer support and implementation team is weak. Over promise and under deliver.
