About Mentorloop
MentorLoop is is a cloud-based mentoring program management platform which is designed to help organizations run their one-on-one and group mentoring programs at any scale. The software offers custom-branded marketing portals, auto-matching of mentors and mentees, instant messaging, real-time analytics and reporting, and more.
Mentors and mentees can sign up to the mentoring program online, through sign-up forms with customized survey questions. Form data is automatically piped into Mentorloop for matching of mentors and mentees. The built-in smart matching tools automatically match users based on selected criteria, including locations, interests, experience, skills, and desired outcomes. The optional My Match feature also allows mentors and mentees to select their own matches from the internal CRM of user profiles.
Mentorloop’s contextual nudge tracks automatically provide mentors and mentees with prompts and tips at the right time, and all users can chat in real time, share files, set mentoring goals and track their personal development through the branded portal. Through the coordinator dashboard, administrators can view real-time engagement analytics derived from communication frequency, and run pulse surveys and generate custom reports to measure people outcomes and return on investment (ROI).

I'm Mental for Mentorloop

Pros
It enabled our company to evolve our already existing Mentor Program and take to a whole new level with Mentorloop's groundbreaking 'Mentoring Technology'. Mentorloop is native and easy for users of all ages to get excited to 'e-meet their mentoring match'. They are guided with well designed educational tutorials to assist in demonstrating the capabilities of the platform - for example; setting goals, creating calendar events that sync with work calendars and even sharing great TED talks. Mentorloop has now enabled us to track user activity and provide us with excellent (dare I say it - and sexy) reporting and analysis capabilities. The online bank of resources available to Mentors and Mentees has been a delightful surprise for our people as well.
Mentorloop is bloody brilliant. And so is their wonderful team.
Cons
It currently lacks emojis and GIF sharing within the loop chatting functions - staff would be thrilled with this and would probably never log off!

Streamline and easy to navigate. Putting my information through on this platform has made my choices easier when it comes to finding a mentor for myself. I'm also pleased with the mentor I have received. Once my mentor and I found a schedule that works for both of us, we didn't actively use the Mentorloop platform actively.
Pros
It is easy to use and straightforward. You can go through the process of the intention and choose whoever aligns with the purpose of a mentor. I liked the email reminder to give my mentor feedback and vice-versa, to have a safe environment to encourage each other in this growth process.
Cons
I don't think I have ever used the chat box area, not a bad thing since I did not have a reason to use it. I have requested to mentors before but it doesn't seem like they're active on the platform enough to accept my request since most of them didn't go through because of the overdue period.

Pros
Able to find people easily, people who I wouldn't have come across otherwise
Cons
Doesnt encourage mentoring throughout, difficult to get hold of people who don't respond, would be great if there was more of a matching feature.

Pros
Ease of use, great platform to find and collaborate with like minded professionals in your space. The UI is very friendly and it has a good tutorial explaining how everything works.
Cons
If I could improve one thing, it would be the cross functionality with other applications. I say this lightly as I am not sure if there are restrictions internally within my organisation that are preventing the right permissions, and so someone else may have a different experience.
