Redtail CRM is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution designed for financial professionals, which includes tools for managing contacts, documents, records, activities, email broadcasts, seminars, workflow automations, reporting, and more.
With Redtail CRM, users can centrally manage all of their contact, lead, and client data in a single solution. Records can be tagged and categorized to simplify searching, and enable bulk editing and campaign targeting. All touches, activity, account notes, and data changes are stored in a single view in the contact record timeline, alongside account metrics. Configurable workflows enable the automation of processes including activity generation and tracking, based on a range of trigger events. Activities can also be customized and scheduled, with unlimited attendees, linked contacts and linked accounts.
Redtail CRM allows users to send out bulk broadcast emails to groups of prospects or clients, with the ability to attach files. Seminars and events can be planned and managed, with full reporting. Redtail CRM offers a range of account and client reports built in, and users can also utilize custom fields for drill-down and export custom data for analysis at any time.

We have been using this CRM for about 3 months now after a recommendation from a Field Marketing Office and we haven't looked back since. I had experience with other CRMs like SalesForce, while SF is still fantastic and top-tier, I find this to be a better value for the money.
Pros
I love that this CRM allows us to break down different tabs that are relevant to what we do as Financial Advisors. We have a clients section, prospect section, and even a seminar sections where we are able to track and market to those that are signed up for a workshop or dinner seminar, it helps us compartmentalize the different categories and groups that we are trying to engage
Cons
Honestly, the only qualm I would have is that I wish there was a better integration with drip email software, but that might be user error.

Very positive! The workflows and activity tracking have helped make us very efficient and they also integrate with so many other platforms that it saves us a lot of time from duplicate data entry
Pros
The customer service is extremely responsive and easy to work with. I also really liked that we had a trainer reach out to us and do a one on one session to make sure we had everything set up correctly. So nice to get that kind of attention when we aren't a big company.
Cons
The alerts for the calendar are the only thing I wish they could improve on.

A lot has changed over the years

Pros
Maintain my client database along with activities and notes for compliance purposes - sync's with my mobile phone so contacts and calendar is always available
Cons
Used to be great but the past 5 years or so we've seen less attention and customer service is lacking - suggestions are noted as planned but no movement for years and new suggestions or comments sit awaiting moderator approval and never become visible to the community. Can take hours to get customer service on the phone to resolve issues and we haven't seen an update to the program in ages. Doesn't seem they care anymore about the users experience.

Pros
This software allows me to do everything I need and then some. If I ever need help customer service has been the best. Everyone has been helpful and friendly. Using this has definitely made my life better from what we used to use.
Cons
Nothing to complain about yet. Once in a while the upload speed it slow, but that could be on my side.

Pros
How intuitive it is to create activity tasks and then also to create templates for processes that we use all the time.
Cons
There are sometimes very easy features that you think would be available that aren't. It is important to find lists and create lists of data and then be able to sort and customize and export and it just isn't quite there with Redtail CRM. We are hopeful that the merger w/ Orion will create better reporting lists.
