
About Receipt Stash
Receipt Stash is a cloud-based bookkeeping automation and expense tracking platform designed to simplify accounts payable bookkeeping by extracting expense information automatically from uploaded invoices and receipts, and categorizing the expense items using customizable supplier rules. The documents are stored centrally in a cloud-based account and can be published to connected accounting systems with a single click.
Receipt Stash offers multiple upload options for users to submit their expense documents. Users can capture images of their receipts through their mobile device, forward files to their dedicated Receipt Stash email address, or upload documents directly from their desktop. Information is automatically extracted from the document and stored alongside the file, removing the need for users to manually enter data. Users can create custom rules to automatically categorize and populate invoice and receipt items with data including tax rates, nominal codes, and other information. The expense document and expense information are uploaded to users’ accounts in real time, from where they can be viewed, edited and sent to accounting systems.
Users can link Receipt Stash directly with their accounting systems, including QuickBooks Online and Xero, and publish their expenses with a single click. Foreign currencies can be converted automatically based on the date of the receipt and amount. Different access and permission levels can be set for employees and management for both the web and mobile applications to ensure only the right people have access to sensitive information. The dashboard overview provides users with insights into spending, and detailed reports with drill-down can be exported to share with key stakeholders.

This has saved me time and money in admin, plus kept me organised as it's so easy to upload, email and connect receipts that need to be processed.
Pros
The ease of use, the straight forward way in which everything flows through. The team is very helpful when you need support, and are keen to enhance anything. A forward thinking and progressive organisation that will take this sector by storm. Pricing is affordable and the time and money it saves in admin makes it worth every cent 100 times over!
Cons
There's nothing I don't like - if I can work this, anyone can! If there's something you don't like I'm sure the team at Receipt Stash will look into making any changes that would make the platform even better. They are open to ideas and feedback and are extremely helpful

I use receipt stash to automatically code all my receipts within Xero, attaching a photo as well, which improves our accounting documentation and makes it quicker and easier for me to code random expenses like stationary purchases or cafe meetings.
Pros
I love how the app goes straight to the point of scanning receipts without messing around on five different screens to get there. It’s very good at reading and coding the receipts! Have never had one it couldn’t manage.
Cons
I don’t have any dislikes about this software.

I like that its instant, i was always losing receipts, now i scan it as soon as its in my hand and its done, easy, simple, fast and i can then forget about till i need it

I Havent found anything i dislike yet with this app, it has been working well for me, its the first of this type of app ive used, so nothing to compare with, but no complaints as yet

Time savings aplenty and easy to use

Pros
All of my receipts sorted the moment I receive them (I'm prone to losing them, and subsequently forgetting about it) and the time that it saves me when having to input that info into Xero is great. On top of that the level of support is fantastic, any question I have is answered very quickly and the team there is open to feedback and change. Can't recommend it enough.
Cons
Have had no issues so far at all. No complaints!
