OpaVote

About OpaVote
OpaVote is an online voting tool which aims to help users achieve more democratic results in their elections by better representing the voters’ will. The solution supports hybrid elections, and enables the combination of both on-site and off-site voters in a single election. All voting pages in OpaVote are encrypted to ensure complete security and privacy to voters.
OpaVote can be used to elect representatives for organizations, choose candidates for political parties, streamline formal decisions, and discreetly check if the members of unions would like to strike before holding a formal assembly. Users can automatically send voters secure, single-use voting links via email and collect authorized votes. Multiple voting methods are supported, including ranked-choice voting - instant runoff voting (IRV), single transferable vote (STV), and Condorcet - weighted voting, approval voting, and others.
OpaVote can be used both to hold elections and also to count ranked ballots which have already been collected. The reporting tool provides real-time updates on which voters have received emails, visited their voting page, and voted. It can even detect when emails get marked as spam, which results in high deliverability. At the end of the election, users will receive the raw ballots as well as a detailed report with counts automatically done. Interactive graphics give users fine-grained details of each step of the process of explaining these counts. OpaVote also lets users create personalized online polls and publicize these through their website, social media accounts, or email lists.

OpaVote was the choice for a simple to use, yet robust solution

We held a vote every year using this software for about 3 years.
Pros
I liked that it had several ways to have a vote and you could have multiple types of voting- from true/ false to multiple choice. There was even a write-in option. It also used to be free so it was more of a choice to go to then. It holds up to other voting software for a low price of the investment.
I also liked the way I could email out the vote to users in my community.
Cons
What I didn't like is that there was no vetting in the software and if someone's name was in there twice, it didn't care. So I had to manually go through my lists and make sure only one person was getting a vote. It did assign unique voting codes for each person though.
