About Betterez

Betterez is a scalable and flexible cloud-based software that offers a solution for the RTM (reservation and ticketing management) industry. The software helps transportation, travel and admissions companies, including shuttle services, casinos, commuter companies, passenger trains, attractions, tours, and box offices, to increase their sales and offer a streamlined user experience. The software also offers a barcode and NFC (near field communication) mobile scanning app to further facilitate the users’ reservation and ticketing needs.

Betterez offers capacity management features integrated throughout the platform in order to maximize efficiency. The capacity can be changed daily and scheduled into the transaction screens at-a-glance, in real time during the sales process. It can also be managed with main routes and schedules. With the platform’s interactive dashboard, the operators can monitor ride capacities in real-time, as well as maximizing inventory, capacity and demand.

The software allows the sale of a limitless number of ancillary revenue products, grouped with or without reservation and ticketing. The comprehensive revenue management suite within Betterez allows the operators to offer customers the right trip, at custom prices.

Betterez’s advanced, web-based seat map engine is designed to simplify the venue creation and setup processes. With the scheduling tool, operators can add multiple schedules with the desired number of dates and routes, including multi-day events, multi-city trips and locations. The software lets customers create multi-use tickets such as open-ended tickets, reservation, bundle booklets, monthly passes, admissions, events and more.

    Great to use for reservations, This site is easy for our customers and helps us to keep the reservations rolling in.

    Cons

    Not to sure, maybe the fact that the back end isnt so user friendly when it comes to making changes to your own account. It is kinda scary that one change can mess everything up.

    Betterez bringing bus industry out of the dark ages

    The average person has expectations that the bus sector is as developed as any other sector. Our industry is limited in size and limited funding, once you adjust your expectations that we don't have airline-level budgets or uber venture capital, you will realize that working with Betterez is frankly the only solution. But if you think that you can buy some buses, undercut your competition, and just get Betterez for bare bone price and take over the market, you have a big surprise and disappointment coming your way. This isn't high-volume software, It is about long-term relationships, and willingness to pay as your part of the investment into future development and evolution. This software won't allow you to be a fly-by-night operation, you still need to do things, right, and have IT, team, dev team, marketing, admin, and compliance, If you think the software is your entrance to competing with the existing players, your better off doing something else in life. Betterez is a good software partner, and you must be willing to work with them, and they will work with you, but this is a long-term relationship and you need to protect it and nurture it. You must be committed to operating and staying operational. Yes the software is a great foundation, and it has the option to grow, but we have a full-time dev team to evolve Betterez through API hooks even more.

    Pros

    The only dedicated intercity bus software based in North America that I found acceptable. Time zones are killer for international options, and it is nice to have daytime support, and our industry was so much in the dark ages, it takes time to develop this to what the airlines, are or uber is, but they are doing it, we are working with them on that, and our in house team innovates on what Betterez doesn't have time to do.

    Cons

    Well, we have a way to go before we can say we are better than airlines uber, or other well-funded sectors. Maybe 5 to 10 years before the bus sector has a 100% capable fully developed software, we are just that far behind other sectors. Not Betterez fault, mostly greyhound fault, but Betterez is working to improve that.

    Pros

    Betterez has a ton of features and the team are great to work with. I particularly enjoy exploring the data, I just wish that some of the analytics were better presented.

    Cons

    Aspects of the set up are not intuitive or seem to be pacing behind competitors. In particular, pre- and post-departure notifications and Terms o& Conditions rely on html coding, and ad hoc customer messaging is non-existent. The software is set up to run a company, just not to market the company and elevate the guest experience.

    Really helpful and responsive on the occasions required. Best thing overall is that it is a system that we use day in and day out to sell and manage our services and it makes that process very easy. It is a very reliable toll and great solution for what we need.

    From a admin usability POV it is excellent. Customer UX also very good. Very mobile friendly and makes our operations easier to manage on a daily basis.

    Very little I could say I dislike about the product.
