Samsara is a fleet operations management platform designed to assist various industries including transportation, logistics and construction with GPS fleet tracking, ELD compliance, routing and dispatch, documents, reporting and alerts, and more. Live GPS tracking shows where vehicles are in real time, helping users share accurate ETAs with customers. Reporting tools enable users to plan routes, while integrated dash cams, driver safety scores, and automatic alerts for speeding, idling, and geofences help users protect their business and assets. Samsara is an FMCSA-approved ELD solution.
Samsara works with all types of vehicles, from cars and buses to trucks and specialized vehicles, allowing a single dashboard to unify the management of these mixed fleets and mobile assets. Distracted driving detection, automatic incident upload and in-cab voice coaching tools serve to enhance fleet safety, while two-way messaging helps users streamline fleet communication. Samsara enables users to capture documents in real time by taking photos of items such as delivery and fuel receipts. Users have access to these documents, as well as other notes and relevant fleet data. Samsara supports paperless DVIRs, allowing users to carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and walkarounds via any mobile device. Other key features include usage-based maintenance, automatic historical logs, trailer tracking, open REST APIs, and more.

It never had any issues with the location and you were able to switch it to personal convenience while in motion.
Cons
I never had any issues with it. I was driving under someone else's company so it worked perfectly for me.

Ability to see so much information about the truck as it travels down the road
Cons
When it displays diagnostic codes I wish it would do it in more detail than being so generic.

Pros
Easy to Setup - Customer Service is knowledgeable and Reliable - The fault code notifications are valuable for safety purposes giving knowledge about our Fleet Repairs Needed.
Cons
That the price to car owners on a personal level isn't really feasible at this time. If and when it is I would love to do sales for this product. lol

It is overall one the best out there its easy for the drivers and office staff to use. I have been able to create things with in samsara that make my life easy example I have really used the document side of things a lot more and made new forms to save us money. so no it is not just a dash cam company customer service has also always been top notch as well.
Pros
The thing i love the most about samsara is the easy to use interface. Between the apps that they offer to makes watching the fleet easy
Cons
I dislike the it only works with samsara products i understand why its like this but even to add more cameras it requires a few different things that make it hard to find what will work with the system
