About Relatient

Relatient is a web-based patient appointment reminder system, which helps hospitals and healthcare centers manage and send reminders for scheduled appointments with emails, texts, and voice messages. Key features include data capture, configurable workflows, survey collection, and reputation management.

The application enables practitioners to reschedule appointments, send notifications for missed visits, share emergency alerts, and record patient responses across multiple locations. Team members can create custom reminders according to location, doctor, and appointment type. Health centers can generate bill statements, check outstanding balances, and manage payment plans through the user dashboard. Plus, the HIPAA-compliant solution enables doctors to share health documents and insurance information as well as chat with patients via a secure two-way communication channel.

Relatient offers integration with multiple third-party electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management (PM) platforms, including AdvancedMD, AllMeds, AntWorks, Aprima, Athenahealth, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, Epic, Lytec, MacPractice, and SOAPware. It comes with a mobile app that lets patients register, add check-in times, and confirm visits. The solution also allows providers to create targeted campaigns for patients and generate real-time reports based on the number of enrollments and revenue growth.

Relatient allows us to customize our appointment reminders by practice, in turn making our offices really feel in control of the messaging to their patients. Their development team has always been transparent with timelines and expectations, and are quick to resolve any issues that may arise. Additionally, the account managers are knowledgeable of their products, always willing to listen, and will involve any necessary parties (even the CEO) when expectations have to be adjusted.

Pros

The eRegistration platform that allows our patients to complete all necessary paperwork from a link in their appt reminders.

Cons

The lack of customization when it comes to recall messages, which is a large part of our patient engagement.

Painless patient engagement

Pros

Flexibility. Relatient is capable of "bobbing and weaving" to meet the needs of their customers. We've worked with other vendors, but no one matches Relatient's quality and service in the patient engagement space.

Cons

That we didn't use them sooner. Using Relatient out of the gate would have saved our organization many headaches.

I would have recommended them before, but now, never. Since they took their customer support overseas - I am looking for alternative solutions, because the support I am receiving for the price that we pay, is not OK.

Pros

they offer a lot of great services, when they work.

Cons

their customer service used to be their saving grace, I've had issues, but I would call and get it taken care of. Now I have many open tickets and get no where and can't call to get any thing solved. It is bad, really bad.

Pros

We love the ability to customize the scheduling ability for each individual. This was previously a huge issue of scheduling errors and this product was able to decrease those errors tremendously

Cons

My only dislike would be that it does not currently allow you to make changes in a group setting, you must make edits individually and this can be tedious.
