About ProPresenter
ProPresenter is a live presentation and worship application designed to help churches and schools manage and display lyrics and other media in real time, in order to improve engagement with audiences. It allows users to control and handle scripture presentations from a centralized screen and present content using one or more output methods.
Key features of ProPresenter include a media library, playlist management, projection tools, a scripture database, worship panning, layout management, record and playback ability and chord chart management. It comes with a multi-layered architecture, which enables user to control and configure backgrounds, video layers, props, masks and slides independently. Churches can use the import functionality to fetch and play videos from other platforms while adjusting the videos effect, color, volume, or brightness, and cropping or zooming from within the solution.
ProPresenter comes with customizable templates and a text reflow editor, which lets users create and predefine templates, edit slides, and add elements such as shapes, graphics, text, live video inputs, videos, and HTML5 web pages to presentations. Users can also curate, display and moderate social media feeds based on multiple keyword searches.

From the time we decided to take the plunge to having used it for years now, working on ProPresenter has been such a great delight. Given that most services depend on volunteers, it was becoming increasingly difficult to have the manpower required to run these different systems. Using ProPresenter to integrate into our current production rig, saves us both time and resources.
Pros
The biggest advantage of using ProPresenter for us was the ability to have multiple outputs to multiple displays. Having the ability to add and subtract layers on the fly is another great advantage of using this great software.
The ability to integrate it with our present music production software (Ableton Live) is what made it possible to automate our audio and lighting scenes. This is far ahead of what the competition offers at the moment.
Cons
The barrier to entry is probably the price and yearly subscription. While it may not be a lot, the possibility of a very small congregation or international audiences not being able to afford it, is a likelihood.

I have been using this program for over two years, and it continues to be updated, bringing great satisfaction with its features.
Pros
I love this program because it is the most powerful tool for managing all aspects of worship services in a church. It is fundamentally easy to use, includes all the features I need, and is designed with every function necessary for preparing and running worship services or performances.
Cons
Although the program is built for easy operation, it still requires practice to master. The more features it has, the better understanding you need to utilize them effectively. Therefore, how well you grasp this tool determines how effectively you can use it.

Love ProPresenter 6, but not supported any more and can't use CCLI with it. ProPresenter 7 has been a nightmare.
Pros
Again, this is about ProPresenter 7. They've made some random things easier than it was with ProPresenter 6 (such as changing text color).
Cons
For ProPresenter 7, it tries to do too much and sacrifices things it did well (or easily) in ProPresenter 6. It certainly is not as intuitive as ProPresenter 6 was! We rent from another church, so we can't leave our laptop plugged in to run from week to week, but that shouldn't matter. It baffles me that one screen configuration setup that worked the previous week doesn't work the next week. Also, I don't appreciate that I can't find (this may be me, but again - not as intuitive) the CCLI number for songs we've already downloaded as I was able to in ProPresenter 6. PP7 is geared for streaming and seems to have made that a focus. We use Facebook for streaming because we have so much text on screen that it will require a complete redo to break the text screens from our liturgy into smaller lines of text on a page to allow for visuals and text on the same screen. Anyway, PP7 has been a disappointment and I don't think it's going to get any better for me because their focus seems to be more on streaming than multimedia display.

ProPresenter is a stable, reliable, feature-rich presentation software that is ideal suited for churches that continue to improve, both in stability and features. It works for those looking for a simple upgrade from PowerPoint and allows you to grow in your use and implementation as your needs change.
Pros
I love the versatility and flexibility ProPresenter offers. It allows me to not only present images, graphics, and videos to our church congregation for our services but also for many advanced features, such as outputting a lower thirds signal to our video switcher and taking video inputs in to put on our screen (using NDI). I also find the software to be very stable and easier to use than other presentation software I've used in the past.
I also enjoy that I can pair ProP with Companion to allow it to interface with other software and hardware, such as our video switcher and sound board.
Cons
As an advanced software program, it can be challenging for new volunteers to master features beyond operating a prepared "show". However, there are many videos and written tutorials, including from Renewed Vision, which are helpful for initial training.

Our experience with propresenter has been fairly good. A few times they have had some minor software issues. But for the most part these issues have been corrected with updates.
Pros
Easy to use media projection software for church services. Our media team can easily project images and video on multiple large screens during services.
Cons
Propresenter has attempted to go to more a subscription model for their software.
