DeskTrack Overview

DeskTrack is a cloud-based automated time tracking solution which helps small to large businesses record various user activities such as total time spent on a system, idle hours, meeting duration and projects. The platform offers a whitelist option to let users manage app access, permissions and setup usage time limits.

DeskTrack provides a host of features to track URLs, applications, document titles and paths, projects, emails and more. The platform offers real-time reporting to help users gain insights into team performance, productivity and objectives. The scheduled mailers option enables users to set alerts, as well as personal notifications for reporting. The multi-user management functionality allows managers to record timesheets for multiple users working in the same or different shifts with separate work hours and log in/logoff time.

DeskTrack includes an analytics module which helps users access team tasks, project details, daily timesheets and reports via a unified dashboard. Plus, the desk capture feature takes screenshots to provide details of the time spent on various activities. The solution allows saving data either locally or in Dropbox.

The biggest benefit has been the ability to clearly know my time by project.

Pros

The SW has features that allow me to see where I am spending time. I helps from a billing perspective by allowing me to track the hours by contract.

Cons

I didn't find any issues setting p or using the SW.
