Corporate Technical Departments and Corporate Marketing Departments offer technical e-learnings and video-snippets on this learning environment. All physical courses and webinars are offered and tracked as well. That is why this LCMS is called Sika Industry Academy. We just started to create Academy Pages for specific Coustomers. We capitalize on existing technical e-learning by adapting them for customers as well.
Pros
Sika is a fast growing company with 24'000 + people, and 1/2 of them are somehow training internals or externals. This LCMS has a super simple online content creation tool, which needs 15 min of explanation to be used by them. The onboarding of non-LCMS professionals is made easy this way. The administration and tracking of classroom sessions is easy and robust. The creation of separate entry pages for customers with adapted look and feel is created in less than 60 min including corporate colours and customer logos. The import and enrollment of big qty of users by means of a simple excel sheet works well and needs 5 min. The online chat function with RiseUp as an ikon which floats on top of the webpage works well (only for admins). In one sentence: The work with this robust tool is much easier than with many others we worked with, which were delivered by huge suppliers.
Cons
The communication by chat/phone works very well, sometimes a faster call-back could be helpful.
