GiveSmart’s item management features allow fundraisers streamline event management and increase donor engagement. With GiveSmart’s event ticketing solutions, fundraisers can monitor ticket sales, manage guest lists, and automatically register donors for auctions. The ticketing portal allows users to store donor information, process payments instantly, and track all donors, invitees, guests, and sponsors for an event. With the ticketing portal, guests register their contact and payment information, which allows fundraisers to manage the guest list, seating arrangements, and check-in lines.
GiveSmart also includes online donation and silent auction tools which enable users to extend their reach and increase contributions by allowing donors to bid directly from their mobile device.

Gesture offers excellent professional software with outstanding customer service.

Pros
Gesture's software is user-friendly, fun to utilize and has a clean, professional look. I thoroughly appreciate Gesture's frequent software updates. They are continuously in search of even better ways to improve upon the customer experience, which they communicate through their Gesture Innovation Center emails. I believe that they value customer opinions and implement suggestions, accordingly. As an event planner, other companies often approach me, but none offer the experience Gesture has given my clients over the years. Our account manager, Allie Erickson is on top of our every need, patient, accessible, friendly and helpful. Our on-site manager is thoughtful, communicative, professional and kind. The Gesture team is trustworthy, diligent and fully dedicated to their customers. Every year, our attendees highly rate Gesture in our post-event survey. We have remained loyal to Gesture for many years and will continue for many more to come.
Cons
I would like to remain logged onto the system longer, but I understand that the system logs me off for security purposes. I really don't have any complaints.

Cons
The label printing functionality needs to be expanded/further developed.

We signed up for Givesmart to celebrate our 10 year anniversary for our non for profit.

We signed up for Givesmart to celebrate our 10 year anniversary for our non for profit.
We were let down at every turn when the company management could have made good on the experience we had.
We ONLY used GiveSmart because we wanted to benefit from Experienced interactive staff. They sent two young ladies who had no previous experience on how to manage their tasks for the event.
Their tasks were to welcome guests at the front door, take their tickets and most importantly RUN THE FUNDRAISING VIA TEXT DURING THE EVENT, Thereby helping us to raise upwards of $10,000.00 by speaking to the guests, encouraging them to donate and shouting out funds raised in real time.
They DID NOT introduce themselves to me and we already had volunteers to take tickets so we did not need GiveSmart for this. What we wanted was THEIR EXPERTISE IN RAISING MONEY IN REAL TIME AT THE EVENT. In the midst of my event both the young ladies were no where to be found. The FUNDRAISING ASPECT NEVER TOOK PLACE. We paid over 2400.00 for their service. No one took responsibility for this at GiveSmart. The woman that scheduled our event was no longer in the same position in the company so she never even assisted us in the mess. The women who represented GiveSmart apologized for the mixup and admitted they had not done the event before and DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. Givesmart ignored our complaint. They did not return our calls and incredibly asked us for a balance of $200? This experience was really unforgiveable.
Pros
I was not able to experience the software. We did not receive the service for which we paid. The software has no value without the package of benefits namely the TEXT TO DONATE feature while at the event which is what is supposed to help your company raise funds.
Cons
You can use Eventsmart for free so I see not value to their software.

Our overall experience with GiveSmart was amazing. It was what helped us raise money right when the pandemic lockdown had started. We chose GiveSmart because of the good reviews and one other person we knew having used this product giving a good review. We had to make a decision quickly and chose GiveSmart and it was the best decision! I have referred several nonprofit organizations to this product.
Pros
GiveSmart is user friendly. We had approximately a month before our annual auction and we were able to pivot from a live event to a virtual event DIY style.
Cons
There were a couple of features that we would have liked to see; a customizable graphic that counts our "paddle raise" (which in our organization is a reverse auction), and being able to highlight our larger sponsors (give them more visibility for their sponsorship)

GiveSmart is a smart choice!

Pros
GiveSmart is a great platform for events -- either DIY or staffed by their team. I've worked with them for many years in three different organizations. They are solid, professional and goal-focused.
Cons
There are some limitations with customization for displays, but that's minor, in my opinion.
