DoctorConnect is an appointment reminder and patient engagement software which enables medical, veterinary, and dental practices to communicate and engage with patients using features like medical appointment reminders, recall and patient retention management, waiting list management, and more.
Automated communication tools help streamline patient engagement, allowing users to set up and manage the sending and receival of important messaging automatically. Users can automate and manage appointment reminders and confirmations, reschedule requests, recare notices for follow-up appointments or patient retention, waitlist notifications, past due bill alerts, and announcements and bulk messages.
DoctorConnect supports a two-way communication system, and email, phone and/or text reminders, enabling users to log patient responses, as well as send initial reminders. The platform allows users to set up custom messages, plus custom reminder intervals and times. DoctorConnect’s appointment reminders are designed to reduce the number of appointment no-shows.
A central dashboard gives users quick access to patient information like name, appointment type, and recent appointment confirmations. DoctorConnect also facilitates patient engagement through quality of care surveys.

Pros
I like that I can send out mass notifications to patients when a doctor needs to reschedule for the day. It saves me time from having to call each patient.
Cons
So far so good. I have no complaints at this time for this software. Hopefully it will stay that way.

We’ve been using DoctorConnect.net integrated with our EHR for our counseling practice since May of 2019, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our workflow. The software is incredibly user-friendly and has significantly streamlined our patient communication. What I like most about DoctorConnect is its ability to streamline and automate our communication with clients. The appointment reminders, confirmations, client mass texting, and follow-up messages and reputation management are all handled effortlessly, saving us time and significantly reducing our no-show rate. The customization options are fantastic, allowing us to tailor communications to fit our practice’s unique needs. Additionally, the customer support is outstanding.
Cons
I can’t speak for everyone’s experience with DoctorConnect or address everyone’s unique software needs, but I can share my own experience. Any negative feedback or concerns about DoctorConnect is not at all reflective of what we’ve encountered. We’ve had nothing but positive interactions with both the software and the support team. In fact, DoctorConnect has some of the best customer service we’ve ever experienced. Their team, particularly our account manager [sensitive content hidden] and IT support from [sensitive content hidden], has always been incredibly responsive and helpful. For us, DoctorConnect has been a reliable and valuable tool that has truly enhanced our practice.

Epitomax is an EHR vendor we used at the time. This EHR lacked some of the critical advanced tools we were seeking after that we now have with DoctorConnect. We chose DoctorConnect over other vendors because it offered the perfect combination of features, ease of use, pricing and exceptional customer support that we were looking for. Unlike other vendors, for the features our agency needs, they were more expensive for no reason or lacked the features we wanted in one software solution. Cons
Did not integrate into my existing EHR, though the Sales Rep assured me it would. I have had the software for 3 days and never used it. The sales rep refuses to issue a refund. He states I am locked in a 1 year contract.

When we needed to make changes quick all I have to do is reach out to [sensitive content hidden]. I can count on him to get it done. Great communication not only with [sensitive content hidden] but also with any IT concerns.

Their product is easy, straight forward and does exactly what you need it to do.

I wish that our ERH allowed for documents that patients completed go directly to their chart easier then they did.
