About Cooperate

Cooperate is a business-to-business (B2B) marketing platform driven by the customer journey. The cloud-based platform is designed to help users align marketing and sales, manage global, as well as local, marketing efforts, setup and track goals, and track people, content, assets, and campaigns from one place. Cooperate uses real-time insight and data on customers to deliver the right message, to the right person, at the right time, and creates actionable customer journeys to drive marketing and sales.

In order to help businesses with aligning their marketing and sales teams, Cooperate offers tools for planning and tracking the customer journey. Businesses are able to define key stages in the marketing and sales pipelines, and provide full visibility into a specific client’s journey in real time. Users can manage customer journeys across multiple brands, markets, locations, and personas, and targeted content can be linked to multiple journeys to align sales and marketing goals.

Content and assets can be stored and accessed within Cooperate and both global and local teams are able to repurpose marketing assets and content across different campaigns. Dashboards can be created within Cooperate in order to track key metrics in real time and gain insight into how specific campaigns are performing. Other features of the platform include a marketing calendar, brand management, campaign collaboration, planning boards, marketing campaign templates, approval workflows, social funnels, access permissions, and more.

To run a modern digital newsroom requires highly specialised software that allows you to go from the planning stage, through all the checks and balances, as well as managing your contributers posting permissions. The software meets our needs and the support we get from Cooperate is reliable and thorough.

Pros

This software allows us to run an entire multichannel content publishing website and streamline all our editorial workflows in a really efficient and clear way. Distributing content, managing user permissions, managing digital assets and the ability to centralise social media activity all in the same platform makes Cooperage a really important tool for us. It's really easy for our staff to learn.

Cons

Some of the menu items are not in logical locations. For example there is an item called Site Manager under the Site Manager heading. While the software is really easy to learn, this aspect can be a bit confusing at first.

We're attempting to create a revenue marketing operation in our organisation, we need a tool that helps us align all marketing personnel to the objectives for each Half, quarter and month. Cooperate offers this at an almost unbeatable price. Their team is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about marketing and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the platform works for your organisation.
If you're working with dispersed teams that have bespoke processes, cooperate allows you to align that teams and create repeatable, scalable processes aligned to the customer journey. Their vision of creating customisable experiences means you can plop down a campaign, tweak it to conditions and money should spit out money at the end.
Like any good software platform, it's not exactly plug and play and effort needs to be made to ensure the team adopts. However, Cooperate will support these efforts.

Pros

- Alignment to 21st century marketing operations, structure your campaigns and content around buyer journeys
- Taxonomy Top-to-Bottom reporting - Build a marketing function around core products and report on the success of activities by asset, campaign or marketing plan.
- Workflow management - allows for geographically dispersed teams to stay aligned on objectives
- Content Management - A great stop-gap digital asset manager which can also function as a publishing site
- Integrations - Work in progress, but has great compatibility will Salesforce instances - and will work hard particular if you've customised said instances to make sure reporting works
- DOMO - has a package which includes DOMO... very nice.
- Customer service - Hungry, eager team that is ready willing and able to support your success
- Transparent product roadmap - Cooperate is really clear with customers about where their product is going, including existing limitations and workarounds.

Cons

- Death by feature - Need a crystal clear understanding of your own processes and buyer journey in order to maximise the value of the platform. The relationship between features can be unclear

Seems to be the right tool for our business

Pros

- Really intuitive/easy to use
- Fast
- Unlimited accounts for all staff
- Extremely good customer service and support. The team have gone above and beyond for us, despite us making many challenging requests
- Easy to learn and train staff to use

Cons

We are having some compatibility issues with our VPN that is causing some technical hiccups - though this appears to be largely an issue with our internal IT security setup.

At first, the tool probably could have benefited from being more easily customisable/flexible - but the Cooperate team have made a lot of improvements in this area and there are significant changes coming soon to further improve this.

Cooperate allows us to gain invaluable visibility of our content. With multiple people working on content across various teams, this allows us to align our timings and ensure content ladders up to strategy.
The team at Cooperate are always incredible responsive and helpful. They've made recommendations that have continued to improve our experience and they made onboarding a simple process.

Pros

The ability to tag projects with various descriptions e.g. market, brand, audience etc. ensures we're able to filter the most relevant information at any one time. The workspace options with customisable inputs allows us to visualise our content across the year.

Cons

The features are working well for us at the moment. In the future, a document sharing/live editing option would be amazing but it's certainly not a deal-breaker.

Cooperate were fantastic in helping us get our content hub launched in very tight timescales. Regular on-site visits, listened and responded to our requirements and went above and beyond to ensure we went live on the date intended.

Pros

This software has enabled us to develop our content hub in a short timescale and with it we can publish articles straight to templated web pages as well as curate content quickly. It allows us to be responsive to the news cycle and publish accordingly. Being able to move articles around on the live page is a great feature too.

Cons

While overall the software is easy to use and fairly intuitive, there are some layouts that are not perhaps as logical or user-friendly as they could be.
