Axonius is a cybersecurity asset management platform which gives organizations a comprehensive asset inventory, helps uncover security solution coverage gaps, and automatically validates and enforces security policies with 130+ management and security solution integrations, active asset discovery, unmanaged device identification, search functionality, and more.
Axonius connects with solutions organizations already use, helping users see and secure all of their devices, including laptops, desktops, servers, cloud instances and mobile devices, as well as IoT and OT. By giving users access to a fully up-to-date asset inventory, Axonius helps organizations identify any security gaps, enforce policies, and create incidents when assets do not follow the overall security policy.
Axonius supports asset querying, allowing users to create custom queries to understand how each asset relates to their security policies. The platform enables users to create one-off or ongoing search queries, such as ‘show me all Windows 10 devices missing a CrowdStrike agent’.
The Axonius policy enforcement center allows users to decide what level of action to automate with trigger-based actions. Axonius lets users create trigger-based actions for deploying software, running commands, adding assets to a scan, sending notifications via email, Syslog, or Slack, and more.

Axonius is a great product but there are many others, however their support is beyond comparison and this is where they really stand out for me and the team.
Pros
Dashboards, alerts, facilitates user offboarding process, identifies missing security controls on endpoints

It was a perfect fit for us to complete our CIS control for asset management.
For about 2 years we were trying various tools to complete an accurate inventory for our hardware and software assets and comply with CIS security control 1 and 2. We have tons of information about our assets in other tools but they lacked a way to accurately report on them. Then there wasn't an easy way to reconcile which tool was accurate. It doesn't look good when you run a report and get different counts from the various tools.
Axonius with the API adapters brought all the information together in one view. Now we can filter on information from each adapter and reconcile which assets are missing from each tool.
Its such a simple idea but has been a game changer for us.
Pros
The software was simple to install and setup. We were collecting data in under an hour.
There are a ton adapters. We use 12 of them to collect information from everything from Active Directory, Rapid 7, ESX V-centers, antivirus, SCCM, etc.
Its simple to create and save queries to reconcile assets.
We have recently started using the enforcement center to take action on assets. We can run scripts based on information collected from other adapters. You could do this in the individual tool but as Axonius can see information from all connected tools we can use this come up with some creative tasks.
Cons
The user GUI is modern. You can create your own metrics for a query. Currently there is no way to organize the metric cards as they are sorted on order of creation.

Aggregates data on existing assets and user accounts which is part of what a SIEM does.
Validate issues with endpoints from multiple sources.
Track activity on certain servers/endpoints and run reports that help us determined the Risk Impact by asset/ person.
Pros
Inventory is number 1 (through 5) CIS top 20 most important item on the list.
This software solution allows you to aggregate csv reports, uses API calls to different data sources.
You can aggregate data for endpoints, servers and people.
For example, I get information from our Active Directory, Vulnerability Scanner and Antivirus in one report.
We were able to run a report on last seen devices with antivirus installed - we realized that some clients had a misconfiguration issue.
Cons
Nothing to dislike, I just wish I knew about it 4 years ago, would've saved me a lot of time on excel processing.
