Heresy Overview

What is Heresy?

Heresy is a workflow and analytics tool designed for sales teams that use Salesforce.com. It uses machine learning and data visualization to generate visual sales forecasts and reports. It is a cloud-based system and can be accessed through any browser-enabled device including desktops and mobiles.

Heresy provides actionable sales forecasts to help increase efficiency within sales teams. It offers a deals board that presents deals visually, allowing users to fetch information conveniently. It also offers users the ability to set reminders on deals and recieve alerts to prevent any neglected contacts. The dashboard presents a burndown chart to give users real time information about the progress and productivity of both individuals and the entire sales team.

Heresy uses machine learning and data visualizations to build sales forecasts. It gives information about the expected numbers at the end of a forecasting cycle and information about committed deals and when they are expected to close. It also allows users to view sales performance according to their expectations. Heresy has a two-way connector that ensures the accuracy of CRM data.

Would suggest this to any salesperson or team looking for a clear way to view both team and individual performance. It's very easy to set up so is certainly worth trying.

Would suggest this to any salesperson or team looking for a clear way to view both team and individual performance. It's very easy to set up so is certainly worth trying.

Pros

Solid integration with SalesForce, super clear visualisation of opportunity and pipeline stages. Also provides useful data at the touch of a button which would otherwise be a pain to set up manually through SalesForce.

As a team lead, it's also very easy to import/remove team members as and when.

Fundamentally, the best thing about Heresy is the behaviour it promotes in salespeople. Moving away from the 'cards to your chest' behaviour most salespeople would be familiar and towards a more open/ agile outlook.

Cons

I think it would be great if we were able to edit the appearance or the dashboard, but I feel this is something that's probably in the pipeline. Can sometimes need refreshing to update.

Pros

What I like most
1. The burndown chart creates a great way to visualize where you are in a month
2. Automates many things including visibility into where you are with deals that may have fallen through the cracks
3.great analytics in terms of providing data points and interpretations on what are important steps in sales process and providing them in an easy to read format.

Cons

Salesforce integration at times seemed problematic. This has been largely fixed and continues to move in the right direction

Pros

In a couple of seconds I can work out what I need to prioritise on a weekly basis in order to achieve my quota. It's also beautiful and very easy to use.

Cons

Not all of the custom fields are mapped by default.

Pros

Intuitive Design, easy to use and for the first time - we can clearly see the progress of the Sales team in a way everyone understands.

No mobile interface yet but Inunderstand that one is coming soon.
