Kanboard

About Kanboard
Kanboard is a web-based Kanban tools solution for businesses of all sizes that enhances project management through collaboration, visualization, and drag and drop dashboard features. The system comes with set project limitations to ensure workers are only focused on their project and do not leave tasks unattended. Tasks can be assigned by a project manager or employees with access to the dashboard, which allows for a visualized timeline to view when tasks were completed. This feature provides analysis on incomplete tasks whilst also giving collaborators commenting and document sharing capabilities to show which workflows are utilized efficiently.
Kanboard provides translation for over 30 languages including English, French, Spanish, Greek, Japanese, Chinese, and German. The system also provides a search functionality, which allows for users to search by custom filters such as due dates, task descriptions, categories, and employees currently working on a specific task.

I use Kanboard every single day to manage my teams work. It has all the features I need but not the "bloat". I like that because it's self hosted, my data is my own. Because it's open source and free, I don't worry about the cost of additional seats when I add new users.
Pros
Kanban is free and open source and is self hosted (you host it on your own computer or server - or even in a docker container). It has a rich API that makes it easy to integrate with your other systems.
Cons
The user interface is easy enough to use but it looks a bit old school. It could use some polish.

Pros
Kanboard is independent. It's not integrated into something else, but works well.
Cons
It can be a bit clunky. And lack of integration also hurts.

Nice tool for Kanban

It has reduced project management time.
It has reduced project management time.
Pros
Easy to use and administer. Setup and upgrades are also easy to do. Plenty of functionallity and good documentation.
Cons
It is sometimes difficult to get an overview when there are many tasks. Difficult to see priorities and progress. But I think that's more a usage problem or a generic kanban problem than the software per se.
Reporting is perhaps not that good.
