Key features of Loom include online video sharing, customizable branding, encryption, collaboration, commenting, and animation previews. Designed for engineering, sales, customer success, leadership, and customer support teams, Loom allows users to duplicate or trim video copies, send personalized videos, and receive notifications for every view. Loom is an excellent tool to collaborate with your team, since you can describe the steps of a procedure for some software or some complex task, I like that you can combine recording your screen and at the same time using the camera, Loom is practical and its interface It is intuitive, it does not require much time to know how to use it and can be share easy with a link.
Pros
What I could emphasize the most is that Loom is very simple to use; it is a software that does not take up much screen space, it is unobtrusive, and you can select the plugin on any screen and record what I am doing; it also has the ability to turn the microphone on and off as needed. It is considerably more useful than written instructions to teach how to execute a task or administer a computer because I can create tutorials.
Cons
While I like how simple the desktop app is, I wish loom had more options for video editing.

I'm a big fan of Loom. I don't think there's an easier or more affordable way to quickly and easily shoot and share video content, and screen shares.
Pros
I love how easy it is to make a quick screencapture or video and share it with others. I often use it to explain things to clients, without having to write out a full e-mail. It's also helpful when reviewing documents, as they can be viewed along with video and audio commentary.
The fact that you can shoot a video, and share the link in no more than a few clicks of the mouse is fantastic.
Cons
The file structure for completed videos is a bit difficult to manage. I still haven't mastered this, so my video storage is a bit of a mess. I understand that they've released new features recently to make this better, but I haven't had a chance to look at it. I haven't had to.

I believe as time passes, Loom will continue to enhance its features and eliminate bugs. As the overall experience is refined, I believe Loom, with its unique offerings, is certainly a top competitor in the video recording software market.
Pros
It has a simple, easy to use interface, which allows you to alternate between recording styles depending on whether you want your voice, your face or both, which is a welcome step. It also stores your videos on its online portal, up to a certain number, protecting you against crashes and other mishaps. The support is very friendly and quick to respond, enhancing your experience further. Plus, you can share your videos directly through their portal, saving you the hassle of downloading and uploading the videos on a streaming platform.
Cons
I'd like to think of Loom as a work in progress. With its bugs and crashes, it fails to impress when compared to other recorders I have used. I have had to contact support multiple times over an identical complaint of videos failing to upload completely, despite having a strong and fast internet connection. Once, after recording an 11 minute video, I realized Loom had recorded only 3 minutes, causing severe frustration.

I would rate Loom 7/10. It makes sharing & team collaboration very easy and effective!
Pros
Easy to use software with a very lite UI. You can share the recording hassle-free with your team members with a sharable public link. No need to signup to see the recording via the link.
They have a freemium version as well, which is cheery on the cake!
Cons
Once a software update comes, you need to update else who won't be able to use this software. This is very annoying with frequent software updates in the Desktop Application of Loom.

It helped my development business get feedback from my clients. Loom is a great tool of you are looking for screen recording and for video recording too. The new tools added by the loom team are also great which help us improve the overall productivity.
Pros
Screen recording capabilities are awesome. I loved the integrations with 3rd party apps. User Interface is also very easy to use. We can record and get feedback from our clients very easily and quickly. It makes me more productive.
Cons
The screen recording limit is what bothers me a lot when I was on a free plan. Although 5 Minutes are enough for most of the users but it wasn't for me.
