About H20 Driverless AI

H2O Driverless AI is an automatic machine learning platform designed to support data scientists in any industry. Features include bring-your-own recipe, time-series and automatic pipeline generation, model scoring, validation, tuning, selection and deployment, and automatic feature engineering.

H2O Driverless AI offers automatic feature engineering and transformation from a given data set to provide users with high-value, insight derived features. The software detects relevant features, finding interactions and handling missing values, as well as deriving new features and comparing existing features to feed the machine learning algorithms with values it can easily consume.

With it's natural language processing feature, H2O Driverless AI converts text strings into features using term frequency–inverse document frequency (TFIDF), ConvNet (CNN) imagery analysis, and gated recurrent unit (GRU) for speech recognition to help business with sentiment analysis, document classification, and content tagging. H2O Driverless AI includes a bring-your-own recipe feature, enabling users to upload custom-built recipes for models, transformers, and scorers, as well as choose from the platforms recipe catalog.

H2O Driverless AI can manage and monitor model deployment across a number of environments and identify any drifts in predictions and scores. Data can be ingested from multiple sources such as Hadoop HDFS and Amazon S3, and can be deployed anywhere, including cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, as well as many on-premise systems.

Pros

The performance of DAI is far beyond what can be achieved with tools from Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. A great deal of the human expertise of Kaggle Grandmasters has been incorporated into the product. beyond overall performance, a key advantage of the product is very rapid product development and iteration. When we report an error or make a suggestion for enhancement, a new release is out within weeks.

Pros

We can develop a model in a fraction of the time it would take us using the traditional modelling workflow.

Cons

Some recent features such as Bring Your Own Recipe are great but still need lots of development to be relevant to some fields.
