About ARI

ARI is a cloud-based auto repair software solution designed to help independent mechanics, mobile technicians, car dealers, and shops manage vehicle inspections, spare part inventories, client communications, VIN decoding and license plate recognition. Repair businesses can list services in an online booking directory, receive requests from clients, and approve/deny appointments from within the application.

With a range of modules for accounting, a built-in spare parts database, client relationship management, invoicing, estimation, car diagnostics, and more, ARI streamlines the entire repairing lifecycle for businesses. It lets mechanical shops diagnose a vehicle using customizable inspection checklists, detect damage to create job cards, assign work to mobile technicians, order spare parts, raise invoices on services, and send automated reminders to clients. Additionally, professionals can maintain and store details about new and recurring customers such as addresses, payment modes, GPS coordinates, and past visits in a centralized repository.

ARI provides custom invoicing templates along with a preview functionality, which businesses can utilize to add brand logos, colors, fonts, and signatures and rewrite parts of forms specific to service requirements. It also comes with eSignature capabilities, which allow businesses to receive customer signatures on mobile devices before sending final invoices via emails.

Best bang for your buck that's out there

Pros

Easy to use while being extremely powerful.

Cons

That I can't use appointment scheduling without allowing customers to schedule themselves.

My overall experience has been ok. However, I think the team is great, and believe they are working their butts off to make the best product possible for those of us in the industry. So far I believe, with everything considered, they are well ahead of their competition in many ways. Especially when you consider what you get for your money. Premium software at a great price!

Pros

Easy, friendly, quick communication with the team, valuable updates to the software regularly, product is very easy on the eyes. The team actually takes takes feedback and works to figure things out to grow their product. And it’s not a bunch of nameless faceless peons who seem to be detached leadership. I feel like a real team is behind this from the top down.

Cons

The calendar they have to offer is functional, but I wish there were more to it to make it work better for me. And offered integrations with other calendars.

Pros

Its affordable and gets the job done adequatly.

Cons

Its very buggy. At least the repeating payments and invoice entries seems to have been fixed. However the scheduler is confusing because you cant assign tasks to different technicians or change the color for appointments so it is very difficult to use. The invoice tempkates became very difficult to edit when they used to be easy. I need to be able to add regular fees, before taxes and they need to be totled by my choice not "other" no one is happy seeing "other" on an invoice. There needs to be a way to add a customer paid fee to the pay online option. I dont need to sacrifice $100 so a cuatomer can put their $2000 bill on a credit card. I need to be able to pass that cost on to the consumer. Also when Im in invoices and I ipen one and go back to the list, it should take me to where I was not back to invoice #1 every time.

Pros

Its ease of use, great inventory management, and the invoice emails it sends out to my clients is really nice.

Cons

You have to pay extra for sending sms messages.
