Network Emergency Warning System (NEWS) is an emergency mass notification solution that helps government organizations send alerts for incidents such as natural disasters, traffic accidents, security threats and more. It enables users to deliver location based announcements and updates, in order to provide instructions or warnings.
NEWS comes with a GIS-enabled site repository, which allows government departments to store and access specific cell sites in the network, facilitating quick data delivery during a crisis. The broadcast manager feature lets users schedule or launch SMS or cell broadcasts across multiple networks including GSM, CDMA, and LTE. Plus, it lets users automatically track the delivery status of all SMS alerts on a centralized platform.
NEWS comes with an alert application programming interface (API), which allows organizations to integrate the system with several third-party solutions. It enables users to maintain compliance with regional or specific telecommunication network laws and regulations.
