About EV Reach
EV Reach is an on-premise/ cloud remote support software, which helps businesses, system administrators, engineers, and technicians launch and manage remote sessions to streamline support and management processes. Its automated incident management module enables organizations to handle service desk requests, open, resolve and close incidents, and view or add notes to support tickets.
EV Reach includes background systems management functionality, which lets professionals view and manage configurations across multiple workstations, servers or systems, install updates or security patches, and monitor system health in real-time to ensure optimal utilization of resources. Features include user management, simultaneous sessions, pop-up notifications, chat, hardware and software inventories tracking, and password management. Additionally, the administrators can search active directories, manage user accounts, group memberships, and scan inactive users via active directory management module.
EV Reach assists administrators with creating custom workflows to automate a variety of IT processes such as software deployment, user IDs and password management, real-time issue detection, reports generation and more. Further, it supports integration with various third-party service desk applications including Jira, Zendesk, ConnectWise Manage, Cherwell, Freshdesk, and ServiceNow.

Best remote tool

Pros
This remote tool is my go to remote tool. It is consistent and works the best.
Cons
I have not figured out how to change default that disables end user control when I remote into device.

Pros
Easy to use and connect to clients by machineID or UserID, copy and paste, and simple file transfers, great management tools and background scripts available also
Cons
Does require direct IP, when using VPN sometimes have to use IP rather than hostname or username, easy to get around though...

I have been working with this product over 20 years in my IT career. Every company I bring it to thanks me for introducing this product it really helps with service management teams.
Pros
I can easily navigate AD reset passwords, remote PC’s. Reporting. Just to name a few of this very capable product
Cons
Not a biggie, but would love to see more with windows patching incorporated into the product

Saved us a ton of time in supporting our remote users.

Pros
Goverlan has made our IT Department much more efficient. We have about 16 sites and it has saved us countless hours from having to drive around and fix issues that take a few seconds to fix. Also, we can fix things before the user knows there is an issue.
Cons
My only thing I don't like is the agent deployed to the end user devices do not auto update when a new version is released.
