About Financial Cents
Financial Cents is an accounting practice management software designed to help bookkeeping and accounting firms automate data collection processes, handle projects, collaborate with staff members, and manage tasks on a centralized platform. Administrators can automate recurring projects such as bi-weekly payroll or monthly bookkeeping operations and utilize practice templates to streamline workflows across the organization.
Financial Cents allows team members to access clients’ interaction details and use the web portal to communicate and request required documents from customers. Supervisors can define steps for tasks or subtasks, track billing processes and configure access permissions for staff members. It also lets accounting firms store customer information such as contact details, documents, passwords, and notes in a centralized repository.
Using Financial Cents, bookkeepers can track the time spent on projects, export data to process invoices, and monitor clients’ financial performance through custom reports. Accounting firms can also schedule automated reminders to follow-up with customers and secure confidential information using Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption.

Streamlining Bookkeeping to leave room for more Advisory

Pros
I don't have to chase clients nearly as much with their to-do lists and client portals set up. They can ask questions, and I can add accountability tasks for clients for them to be reminded automatically, and everything is pretty customizable - including the reminder emails.
Cons
It's still growing and missing features like bulk movement in their document system, but they're working on it. They're great at listening to end-user input.
Reasons for Switching to Financial Cents
Price was far more reasonable for smaller firms, and we don't do tax so we don't need all of those bells and whistles. FC has a no-password and simple portal and we can give our clients to-do's instead of us being responsible for constantly chasing down bank statements!- Industry: Accounting

Financial Cents has been an amazing addition to our up and coming CPA Firm. It is help us be organized with our clients information but with our workflow. I love the constant updates from the FC team and really love the customer engagement they have through Zoom meetings and social media groups.
