About Opinum Data Hub
Opinum Data Hub is a cloud-based data analytics and visualization platform that is designed for businesses in various industry sectors, including gas utilities, water suppliers, power grids, and energy and environmental service organizations. It enables data scientists to capture, transform, analyze, visualize, and share data models and sets.
Opinum Data Hub allows employees to create data models by combining multiple data sets, such as time series, metadata, calendar information, and event details. The built-in dashboard uses a drag-and-drop interface to create and organize graphical data in multiple chart formats, such as line, pie, heatmaps, and bar graphs. The alert functionality automatically sends SMS and email notifications based on data collection issues, abnormal consumptions, and data deviations. It also lets employees maintain data quality standards by conducting continuous monitoring of data to identify data gaps and outliers.
Opinum Data Hub comes with an API, which allows organizations to integrate the system with several third-party solutions, including Qlik, Tableau, and Azure IoT Hub. Administrators can configure the platform with brand logos, themes, and colors. It also provides search and data filtering capabilities, which let users generate insights based on specific data sets.

Pros
It's easy to use flexible configurable and excellent report generation on behalf of my experience I am extremely satisfied with this collaboration of Opium it provides cheap solution of may problems excellent customer support.
Cons
Need some improvements in terms of interface and some functionalities that may need to custom development prove costly.

My experience with Opinum Data Hub has been very pleasant so far, and will greatly simplifies my workflow.
The Opinum team is available and pleasant to work with.
Pros
It was very easy to make the transition from our old tools to Opinum DataHub.
Calculated variables, and especially R language integration, offer pretty much limitless possibilities.
The documentation is clear and complete.
Cons
While working, the push API is confusing.
Two examples :
- if you try to push too many datapoints, the API still answers with HTTP 204, but the request is effectively rejected/ignored, without any warning for the user
- there is a delay (sometimes minutes) between the moment of the request and the moment when the new datapoints are available via api.opinum.com/data or the user interface

We have been working with Opinum for almost 3 years, and we are very satisfied with this partnership. Opinum proved to answer our needs for a reasonable price, and proved very open for discussions on the product and its roadmap.
Pros
It is very configurable and easy to use.
The team is skilled and flexible, with a good partnering spirit
Pricing for the software is very reasonable (as long as we don't require strong modifications)
Cons
There are still a few functionalities missing, and custom development can sometimes prove expensive
