ClubReady Overview

What is ClubReady?

ClubReady is an online club management software designed to help fitness and wellness centers streamline operations related to lead management, member retention, and customer engagement. It allows administrators to handle leads, run sales campaigns, and gain visibility into market trends.

Features of ClubReady are performance tracking, user permission control, communication management, payment processing, reporting, and more. The application enables gym trainers to capture members’ heart rates and calorie information as well as automatically send performance reports after the training session via email. Members can also use mobile applications to schedule classes, manage spot bookings, view past purchases and session balances, and renew memberships.

ClubReady facilitates integration with a business text messaging application, ZipWhip, which enables employees to send and receive notifications on their mobile devices or PCs for special promotions and offers. It also allows employees to record their working hours via barcode, thumbprint, or PIN based systems in addition to automatically sending time and attendance reports to managers.

ClubReady is a Trainwreck

I haven't found any particular benefit to ClubReady. We can't use their time clock because it doesn't suit our needs so we're going with When I Work. I have to report our sales tax every quarter and it used to be a breeze with MindBody, but now, it's added hours to my time to prepare sales tax. Using ClubReady has upended our purchase orders because the sizes and quantities keep falling out of the system. Our Retail manager has to keep adding them back in and this is adding to her workload.

I have been using it for over 3 yrs and don't see much of an improvements over the years. The quality of customer service through chat has gone down.

Pros

This club manager has been my favorite by far. The simplicity, plus the level of depth offered for function is perfect. Member and prospect profiles are easily navigated. Agreements and invoices are specified by date AND time. As for prospects, i love that you can store notes, and set reminders for follow ups. Tasking and to-do items are the most important in any club. It's what keeps the system running. User settings, access and reports are managed by admin rights.

Cons

It looks a bit outdated. Mainly had problems with the updates to the software, and we hardly had cross club access available. Other than minor issues, i really miss using this manager.

Pros

It allowed us to run multiple clubs and separate data bases for communication.

Cons

It was bulky and did not integrate with most plugins we wanted to use.

Pros

ClubReady does a good job of driving sales, but for every day use and daily operations, it's abysmal.

Cons

Customer service is the worst. They have limited hours (7am-7pm CST Monday-Friday) and no hours on the weekend. If customer service cannot answer my question, then I have to create a ticket, and a ticket is answered anywhere from 24 hours to a few weeks. I contacted them regarding an accounting problem last week on Friday and I'm still waiting for someone to call me back. Apparently, the regular person in Accounting is out on vacation and there's no one else who can do her job and answer my questions. The online chat desk is even worse. I waited 22 minutes before ClubReady picked up while our operations manager waited over an hour before customer service picked up. Also, the reporting is awful. None of the numbers on their Remit reports match any of their other reports. The reports provided by ClubReady

Overall I've enjoyed using this software, it didn't take long to master it, and now that I have I will always use this for the business.

Pros

Have been using this software for almost 2 years now and the business could not run without it. It keeps track of all our old and new customers, keeps track of sales, and many more things that help the business run smooth. Best software for club management that I've ever used.

Cons

Sometimes the servers are unstable, and they would go out periodically. And this can be a detriment when making a sale because you can't access the software to run the customers payment.

Cons
