My overall experience with Yardi has been great. The team listens to their clients, they take feedback very seriously and is always looking for ways to improve. I really appreciate the team for always making themselves available and for providing a response to emails within a reasonable time frame. Thumbs up to the team!
Pros
I liked most that [sensitive content hidden] was not a pushy salesperson. He was patient and he took the time to understand our business and how we were looking to use Yardi. Additionally, the implementation team made themselves available to answer questions and assisted with the implementation. They scheduled meetings that were based on our needs and took the time in those meetings to address any issues we had first before jumping into the implementation task.
Cons
During our implementation phase, transaction management was not properly explained to us. So, we purchased it, and never used it. Nonetheless it was later explained we were able to get it removed from our invoice.

I choose Yardi because of the cost. Our sales representative [sensitive content hidden] was very honest, and he made himself available to address any issues or concerns we had. Pros
The most I like about Yardi is that system is constantly updated and new/great features keep appearing and make me happy (a very picky customer).
Cons
I imagined that the implementation phase will take 6 weeks and would not require my involvement. However, I was hardly involved in the implementation phase, which pushed me to learn a lot about Yardi, and the cons became pros. :)

It was very pleasant. Right from the beginning the implementation team managed our expectations well, understood our requirements and kept the project on track. Training was good and they went above and beyond when needed. Support have been solid so far. So all in all, good product and good team.
Pros
It has a modern look and feel. Does not feel like I am using a back office system created decade ago. It has all the features for our needs. It definitely helped us consolidate from over 25 systems down to 4, Yardi Corom played an important role in that transition. The team is very responsive when my team needs help. The solution keeps evolving to meet our changing needs. With every new feature, our lives keep getting easier.
Cons
Implementation took longer than I would have liked but there were a lot of moving parts and certain delays were caused due to scheduling and resources on our end as well. So no biggie.

Pros
The team was very helpful in configuring the Yardi Corom product to fit our needs. The canned version is designed more from the landlords perspective and we need the software to work from the lessee side. The team worked extremely hard to make us happy.
Cons
The multiple products offered can be overwhelming to a new user. I was originally looking for a all in one solution for facilities mgt., lease management, and space planning. Can be a steep learning curve at first due to not understanding certain terminology and takes to time how lease information is stored in different tables.
