About Print Job Manager
Print Job Manager by PrinterAdmin is a centralized print management system for education and business environments designed to simplify and automate the administration of shared IP, local and Windows server printers. The software supports print tracking, secure pull printing, printer alerts, and more.
With Print Job Manager, users can create print rules, optimize printing workflows, manage connected printers, and track all printer usage. All major printer and plotter brands are supported, and print jobs can be sent from any Windows, Linux, Unix, or Mac OS client. Secure pull printing/'follow me' printing holds jobs in the print queue until released at the printer using and ID card or PIN code. Popup notifications display document names, destination printers, print job costs, credit balances, and total pages before jobs are printed.
Print Job Manager allows users to create rules and restrictions to control printing, enabling the automatic pause or cancel of print jobs based on account status, document restrictions, allowable pages per job, color restriction, computer restriction, job size, and other variables. Print quotas can be allocated to individual users or groups, and all jobs sent to any printer can be monitored in real time. More than 100 reports can be generated and exported in a variety of formats including PDF, Excel, Word, and rich text.
