Business Phone and IP telephony system

About VoIP.ms

VoIP.ms is a cloud-based IP telephony system, which helps businesses streamline communication and manage incoming or outgoing calls using voicemail, caller ID, DID forwarding, encryption, call hunting and various other functionalities.

Users can redirect incoming calls to required phone numbers, create callback entries, and manage high volume call queues by playing voice prompts, advertisements, or custom messages for on-hold callers. Managers can organize audio conference calls from local or toll-free DID numbers and monitor call activities in real-time via the dashboard. VoIP.ms lets businesses prepare numeric extensions for callers and set up sequences for scenarios such as recordings, SMS, and DTMF.

Administrators can use secure portals to customize phone systems, view call history, check current account balances, and select locations for outbound calling. It provides email notifications in the event of password changes, emergency calls, API configuration changes, or balance threshold modifications. VoIP.ms also enables customer service agents to add a prefix to caller IDs to determine the origin of incoming calls, block or personalize IDs for outgoing calls, and send/receive media files or text messages.

Pros

We got ourselves setup with voip.ms with only a little effort, and it has ticked along with no problems for the last three years, saving us $50 a month over POTS.

Cons

If I had to pick anything, it is that tweaking configuration to handle different mailboxes, or routing, was a bit fussy, but we ended up not using it. Very minor to the base use-case.
