Heartland Payment Processing is a cloud-based software that helps businesses in hospitality, medical, government, and other sectors accept payments via credit or debit and EMV chip cards. The solution lets managers collect payments at the counter, kiosks, or from the customer's home.
The mobile pay module includes a fast checkout feature that allows administrators to encrypt card data, process online transactions, generate invoices, and view charged payment processing fees. Professionals can also utilize Heartland Payment Processing to collect payments via digital wallets including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay on any device, such as mobile phone, laptop, POS system, tablet, and more.
Heartland Payment Processing lets businesses accept, activate, and redeem gift card payments as well as bills incurred from any virtual terminal. Teams can also utilize the platform to pay via interactive voice recognition (IVR) system and accept deposits directly from customers’ bank accounts via automated clearing house (ACH).

Heartland Payments+ has been our go-to payment processing tool that has made our purchasing activities very efficient. It has helped us get to receive and process payments of various types on one consolidated and secure platform. The experience with Heartland Payments+ is very wonderful.
Pros
The most impeccable thing about Heartland Payments+ has been just how easy it makes to process payments. It support almost all available payment types which is why we have made it our sole payment processing tool. It is very flexible and allows us to customize and scale it to fit our continually growing needs. Heartland Payments+ financial reports keeps us on the light and makes it easy to track all our processed payments.
Cons
It has never become a struggle to use any of the Heartland Payments+ features and neither has there been nothing to like least.

Heartland Payments+ offers a user-friendly interface and strong security features, making transaction management straightforward and secure. However, the setup process can be complex, and the fee structure lacks transparency, which can lead to unexpected costs.
Pros
User-Friendly Interface with ease in navigating through the dashboard
integrated solutions, handles in store sales with Clover POS system seamlessly
Security features with end to end encryption
Cons
Initial setup complexity, for instance setting up the clover POS system was challenging for me.
There's no transaction fee transparency with hidden fees that come unexpectedly.
The users custom report generation are limited for advanced users

Absolutely terrible from start to finish, hopefully Capterra will help me rectify the damage they have caused us. They don't care at all about the customer experience, maybe they care about their online reputation. I even tried to apply for merchant services with them to trigger an update on our account, and they won't even respond.
Pros
Negative and costly experience all around. Permanently damaged our business. They refuse to explain anything at all about blocking my business on the TMF list, thus damaging our ability to apply for any merchant services.
Cons
Zero follow through during the aggressive sales attempt, poor documentation processing, no support. They "blackballed" our company and no one has any information whatsoever, and no training on how to direct us. Hours and hours invested on phone and email with zero progress toward understanding how this happened. This is FRAUD and they should be required legally to explain and justify their mistakes.
