Eye opener. Being a Pro Tools user for 20 years it was an impressive change. It has the best from all the main DAWs (Avid, Live, etc)
Pros
Everything. Interface UX, FLEX, DOLBY ATMOS integration, Automation, voice to midi, midi plugins, midi scripter, etc etc etc. A W E S O M E.
Cons
No CONS. Really I think everything involved with this DAW is exceptional. At this price point it has a lot of features, like DOLBY mixing, that cost 10 times it's price point in other soft. You wont regret it. Granted.

Superb. But being a Windows person who is files and formats for Windows anything I wanted to do to integrate with older files was a huge task to transition them into LOGIC>
Pros
Logic Pro is immense. Logic Pro is top notch and robust. If it doesn't have want you as a stand alone you can include all your VST effects and instruments and away you go.
Cons
APPLE ONLY. This is the reason for the 5 on the likely to recommend. You are completely locked into APPLE with this program. There is NO Windows version. Granted the general media world exists in the Apple realm there is no cross over compatibility with WINDOWS.

I use it to share sessions with another studio who also uses Logic Pro. The sharing iWorks flawless. The workflow is top notch for us!
Pros
As a music producer for 20 years, I have high demands and high standards in any DAW I use. Logic Pro has all the tools I need, from intuitive mixer and editing, excellent 3rd party plugin support and all the output (render/mixdown) options I’ll ever need.
Cons
It has a fairly steep learning curve, when you first start using it, especially if you’re already used to another DAW.

This is a great product for DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). It has most essential features but the lacking of VST is a pain to me. It has easy learning curve so beginner will not have issue on this. Lastly, the price is not cheap, so many people will be unable to afford it.
Pros
- It is easy to use compared to some of the other competitors.
- Many instruments included.
- Has great fidelity, reverbs and sound quality.
- It is a professional DAW with plugin features as well.
- A huge improvement over Garageband (the free version on mac).
Cons
- It is expensive (but worth it), making some individuals unable to afford it.
- lack of VST support.
- Only available on Mac OS.
