About Electric AI

Electric is an IT management software designed to help businesses monitor network security and manage applications, operating systems, databases, and more via a unified platform. The application allows IT teams to automate provisioning and de-provisioning of devices, monitor network inventories, launch upgrades, and review policies.

Features of Electric include security management, access control, analytics, permissions management, employee onboarding and offboarding, single sign-on (SSO), and more. The centralized dashboard enables managers to gain visibility into teams’ IT support requirements and sort request volume by type, timeframe, or requestor. Electric also lets administrators track devices’ health by monitoring various aspects including processor speed, RAM, application usage, battery capacity, and policy compliance.

Electric supports integration with various third-party applications, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Kaseya, Cisco Meraki, Asana, Trello, Dropbox, Mailchimp, DocuSign, Box, Okta, Zoom, and more. It lets supervisors share files with team members, configure workflows, track projects, and generate custom reports in real-time.

Great asset management tool.

For what it is, it's a nice add on to have. The asset management system is very easy to use.

Pros

Focusing on security is a pretty unique selling point. It has a good plan system and also uses Ai which reduces planning time.

Cons

It doesn't have many functions besides asset and employee/ user management.

Our journey with Electric AI was fraught with challenges. An initially promised dedicated account manager was overshadowed by company changes, impacting our onboarding.Service quality wavered, especially with our Microsoft and Meraki license deployments. A Meraki licensing error halted our operations for two hours. Electric AI couldn't help, leaving us to solve the problem alone.Communicating concerns to their executives yielded unsatisfactory responses. Issues included license over-purchasing, incorrect assignments, and missing security software deployments.Considering Electric AI's premium rates, the value for our investment was questionable. While they have potential as a leading IT provider, our experience prompts caution for potential clients. If Electric AI addresses these issues and prioritizes customer experience, they could reclaim their status as a top managed IT provider.
