Mein Schichtplan is a web-based solution aimed at companies in any industry for the creation of online shift planning. The plans can be approved after completion and employees can be sent automated notifications. The creation of shift schedules can be done online with just a few steps.
The use of the software does not require any former experience. Users must first create a list of the staff members, which only requires a first name, last name, and email address. Absences can be entered after the staff list has been created. Users can also define custom criteria for absences such as advanced training, notification of illness, or vacation. It is then just a matter of assigning staff to different shifts. The schedule can be published online and employees will receive a link via email to view the schedule at any time.
Mein Schichtplan is free to use, but companies can opt for the paid-for version of ShiftJuggler that offers additional functions if needed. The other software package from the same provider can be used to create more complex shift plans, and it also includes many advanced functions, such as automatic backups, integrated reports, and time recording.
